Got sent over to Rennie from Langton, who had previously done all my work with no issue. Had the preseason plan paid monthly. Didn’t get around to the check until January and it took until mid-February to get an appt. Tech didn’t show. Several unanswered calls later, I put it on the back burner. AC conked out in May. Took over a week for an appt and some rigamarole for them to agree to use my credit. Fine. Tech didn’t even go in the house. 10 minutes and no paperwork left with my daughter who had taken off work to be there. He said he’d call me with the details and email the invoice. Several voicemails later, I was told the problem was no Freon due to a leak and I needed a new system. Recharging the Freon would cost st least $800 and I was only told that option after I pushed for an alternate. I asked for the paperwork and still haven’t received it. Called Adam’s Air Systems on Fri. Got a Monday morning spot. Tech came, looked at several things and advised me the issue was my blower motor in the furnace and that Freon won’t move in the AC if the furnace motor isn’t pushing it.. It was repaired Tuesday and cost $370. If Rennie is trying to sell new HVAC systems, this is NOT the way to get a customer to feel confident in choosing them for the work. Do yourself a favour. Just call Adam’s and avoid Rennie nonsense. All the good reviews on this site are for custom home work. If you are an ordinary person, it looks like you don’t matter to them.

I was one of the customer's ported over from Langton Climate Care to Rennie (Langton Climate Care advised they were not servicing residential clients anymore) - in relation to my furnace and A/C Protection/maintenance plan.Not long after that, I called and had an an appointment scheduled for my yearly A/C checkup. The appointment time came and went, with no status update/phone calls advising delays. Only once I called at the end of the day, was I informed that the technician was delayed and the appointment would have to be rescheduled.Fast forward to the rescheduled appointment with a 8:30-10 AM window - I called at 1 PM and inquired, and was told there have been some delays again, and it would be later in the day (the Friday of a long weekend...there was a reason I chose the early morning appointment).Needless to say I've cancelled my maintenance plan with Rennie HVAC.Communication goes a long way with a company and I just didn't see it going both ways here.

I sent a message to this company because my A/C stop working. They never texted or call me back. If they are not interested in a minor job, at least for courtesy, they should return the messages. Anyway, I called another company and my unit was fixed the same day.

8 years ago Rennie replaced my a/c and furnace. The a/c did not work well from the install date. In the first year they were out several times trying to get it going. After 2 yrs, they figured out it was a cracked drip tray. They have been in every year since. Now the coil is leaking and Larry told be it was because I didn’t put a maintenance plan on it, despite the fact that they have been out to see it for a repair every year since. I have now gone to a new HVAC contractor to replace the a/c. Buyer beware!!

So, what happens when you wake up and it's 15 C in the house? You call the company that has been taking care of you with a Maintenance Contract for over two years. You text at 6:30 and Kevin returns your call at 7:10am. I told him that I had an appointment at noon and they tell me that they will be at my home by 10:15am. Well, my furnace was broken. The Control Board and a switch needed replacing. Thank you Kevin for arranging for Dave to come right away and I am so grateful. Thank you is inadequate :)

Worst company ever for service, my builder used these flakes on a custom home. Had nothing but issues. Owner is rude and ignorant. 2 days no heat after 3 phone calls to page company and owner and no responce. Then im told after 17 months of home ownership i need to service my furncace and im on my ownfor the cost. Which isnt the issue even. Would of been nice if someone told me this before since ive. Been waiting 2 days with no call back for a fly ny night company to get back to me for fixing it. I’ve had these isssues since my 12 month pdi. Poor product and install from day one. Do not use or call for service.

My furnace was making strange noises and I was concerned it might break down during the coldest day of the year. Paul the technician from Rennie identified the problem quickly (a flap in the valve had got stuck) and he put it right. It took a couple of minutes and there was no charge. I was very happy with Paul’s prompt and professional service.

I want to say thank you for the excellent job you did in repairing my AC system. I called 2 other companies and they all wanted to sell me new AC. But when I called Rennie ClimateCare, from my very first contact with your office, I was patiently given simple answers about the possible causes of my AC breakdown and the approximate cost to repair. Kevin, the Service Manager took his time explaining what the issue was. I took your recommendation to perform a leak test and eliminate potentially expensive trial and error. Your Technician performed the leak test and showed me exactly where the A coil failed and why it was beyond repair. He replaced the coil which is providing excellent temperature and humidity control. We are even noticing a significant reduction in our electricity bill. And the repair bill was right within the estimate, detailed and no surprise and reasonable pricing. I will definitely use Rennie ClimateCare again and will recommend you to all my friends and family. Your honesty, patience (specially with me who knows nothing about technical stuff) and hard work was most impressive in a time where most companies will not even give you the time to explain the problem, all they want is to sell and make money.
