Englishman Creek Recreation Site

Stayed here last year.. awesome campsite with great owners. Felt just like Crownland camping. Wish we could reserve a site, but it is first come, first serve.

What an absolutely wonderful site. Lakeside sites sit on a small spit at this campground, most atop small steep ledges that go down to the water. Plenty of protected coves for peaceful swimming and storing boats overnight. Busy days on the lake usually include tons of powerboats, so the waves are fun on floaties (we anchored ours down to prevent getting sent into shore). Didn't have any bug problems, it was quite windy some days, but a beautiful trip overall. Host Shirley was amazing as well! Pack out garbage (there is a collection area near the bridge). Bring potable water, sand makes it easy to stake tent poles.

Campsite next to ours partied until the sun came up 530am. Hootin and hollering, yelling all night and all early morning. No enforcement of quiet time of 11pm to 7 am. Couldn't find the BC campsite rep to purchase firewood all night, we had to hunt them down on foot at a campsite other then the BC parks designated campsite, we found them partying at the other end of the campsite property. Found them around 10pm after waiting hours for them to come by and see who needed wood, then refused to sell us the 3 bundles we wanted to buy and only sold 2 bundles to our group, despite having plenty to do so. He had an attitude like he was doing us some sort of favour. Horrible experience.

Beautiful sites and the campground attendant is very helpful and lovely. We managed to get the coveted site 27 and it was phenomenal. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great spot. No services and lots of grasshoppers but nice all the same.

Water access was down a steep bank but otherwise it was well maintained. Large camping sites

This was by far the most positive experience I’ve ever had with campground hosts. The ladies went out of their way to accommodate us, gave us tips on how to secure a site and they are just the kindest human beings!We love the campground as well, with huge sites. Will be back.

Amazing campground! Great sites, very well maintained outhouses, Firewood for sale, great lake and amazing camprgound hosts! No power so people do run generators, but Al and Shirley run a tight ship. We will come back every year!

This place is amazing! Swimming, fishing, boating, clean, quiet, amazing views, spacious camp sites... This is my favourite vacation spot - been here three years in a row and I intend to keep coming back :D
