Freed's Floors

Updated…I’m happy to say that given everything that has happened with our transaction, management is making things right with us. It’s been a little bit of a mess but it’s nice to know that we are valued customers and are being treated appropriately. We are thankful for the rush work that is being done to get us to the finish line on this part.We have had the absolute worst customer service! I generally do not leave bad reviews but just couldn’t not say anything. 1) the sales person “wrote the wrong day down” to come and measure for flooring 2) we asked for an itemize statement to be emailed to us 4 times over 2 week period …NEVER got it had to call and have it verbally given to us. We were told one price for the pad but then what was on the quote was another price…3) price of the carpet then jumped $2/sg foot while we were waiting for that itemized statement to be sent…4) we were told carpet was in stock and would be here in 2 weeks and then 10 days after for install. That was over 3 months ago. We specifically pick this because we would have it installed in time to rent the house out for the rally. We are now out $6000. 5) MULTIPLE times was told that we would be getting a call back on status and NEVER did.Any one of these incidents I can over look 100% and even the push back on carpet as I understand it’s out of their control, but all of this combined is just over the top! I was spoken to very rudely on the phone when I would call yo check on the status.

The salesman I was working with is never there to finish the sale and the price changed 3 times. There is more than one flooring company to work with and I will be taking my business somewhere else. The other bad reviews also reflect how they do business.

Ben was always there and greeted us with a smile every time. He was patient, shared his advice and knowledge. If we ever seemed stuck he would help us in the right direction. He would let us take home samples so we could find the perfect floors for us and our home.Thank you for all of your patience and kindness.

Great experience buying carpet from Ken at Freed's! His expertise and professionalism was excellent! Not pushy, and very responsive! I highly recommend going here, and ask for Ken!!!

Best place to buy carpet and have it installed. Monty will assist with picking out your carpet. And the installers were very thorough.

Went into Freeds wanting to purchase flooring for my entire home. I just kept walking around and around looking at carpet and wood floors not really sure what to look for since ive never bought flooring before. Not one person said hello or is there something I can help you with. Saw two males sitting down talking . I assumed they were employees and they saw me but would say nothing. not one person working there would even acknowledge my presence. I guess they don't need my business.

Great job Larry and Tim installing carpet. From the salesperson to the person who came and measured our home. It was great service. Very pleased with the new carpet and linoleum in our refurbished basement.

We didn't have a very good experience with Freed's. Our sales person didn't order enough flooring so that set the completion date back. After the remainder of the flooring came in our sales person ordered the wrong stair nose so that set the completion date back even further. Recommend if you buy here to make sure your sales person knows flooring and maybe even have the installer with the sales person when they visit your home.
