Makirrito Poke Bowl & Sushi Burrito

Came on a Monday just before noon. Not busy, service was quick and friendly. We ordered the zesty tang burrito and the mango tango burrito - both were very large portions with very fresh ingredients. We both preferred the mango tango but the zesty tang was excellent as well. They also offer party trays at very reasonable prices! Will return! No high chairs or changing tables.

Save your money - service is very poor. With four people behind the counter I waited 5 minutes to be acknowledged let alone served (I was the only person in the store at the time). Felt that the price to value is poor for the regular sized poke bowl I ordered. With the numerous competition in the area, I expected more from this place.

It’s my 5th turn to order food from here, most fresh quality fish is assured and sushi rise is seasoned and cooked to perfect. 10/10 recommending this place. The price is little higher to the competitive participating places but it’s a reflection for quality.

The food was fresh and looked amazing. I do agree it’s a little bit big to put into the mouth, however so are normal burritos. I had the zesty tang burrito and the taste of the flavours were really good. It blended well together. To me, I thought the price was reasonable, but I think 1 burrito didn’t make me full enough. Maybe if I added a roll, it would have made that difference. Place was clean, I was acknowledged immediately and service was fast and efficient. Great job and would love to come back and try the poke bowl. There’s also 2 entrances. It looks like you can only get in the from the street, but do not worry, there’s an entrance in the parking lot as well!!

Food 5/5, Service 4/5Tried the salmon aloha poke bowl. Overall great quality and good mix. Bowl was filling but didn’t feel stuffed so good quantity.Busy at lunch time. Almost stood for 10 minutes before any one served me. The person at the cash took the order and payment and left to work on orders. Later they expected me to know the order number but they never even gave me a receipt. Also, I asked for brown rice but they gave me white rice. Need to improve service other than that this a great stop for lunch.

Overall, this place is expensive and a waste of your money. I ordered a sushi burrito and it wasn’t even wrapped properly, everything fell apart from the moment I picked it up. The only good thing I can say about the burrito is that the salmon portion was okay, but everything else was a mess. The base price for the sushi burrito is not expensive, however if you want to add a simple topping such as cucumber they will charge you $0.85 and $1.25 for premium toppings such as avocado. I don’t mind paying a few dollars to add a few toppings but the problem is that they give you too much of it because you are paying for it and then they are unable to properly wrap it. Their poke bowls are such a joke, the rice portion was no more than 3 table spoons and it was dry and stale, furthermore you get more pieces of bitter, dry vegetables than rice, also the bowl is so shallow it’s like a plate. The protein for the poke bowl you get (I got unagi) is so small and pitiful, to be more clear there were exactly 3 pieces of thinly sliced unagi in the poke bowl. This place offers a variety of foods such as sushi trays, poke bowls, and sushi burritos but unfortunately none of them are up to quality standards. Also I came here twice in the past and the food wasn’t that bad, but I noticed that if you come in when they just open at 11:00 or 11:30 on weekends, they give you an attitude and move at a slow pace because they aren’t ready yet; if you are not prepared to serve customers during the start of your hours, than CHANGE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS, don’t make it the customers fault because your employees are unprepared for business. If you want a poke bowl just go to a poke restaurant and if you want sushi, go to a sushi restaurant, this place is just a mess.

The food tasted pretty good. The portions are a little light, but reasonable. A typical poke bowl would set you back about $15. There are options to customize your bowl. The staff seem pretty nice. Place is clean and contemporary. Overall, worth a visit. Would consider coming again.

Went in during lunch and picked up an Aloha Salmon, FireFin Ahi and Dancing Belly poke bowls. Enjoyed the Dancing Belly with mango mayo and teriyaki sauce. They're quite generous with their garnishes and everything was quite fresh. Will be back for more!

Pretty Good portion! The ingredients are quite fresh. I like my pick- Poke Bowl than the Burito wrap. If you are a low-carb eater, poke bowl should be your pick. Some ingredients of the wrap are too sweet such as seaweed salad, tangerine, u can opt them out if u don't want to intake too much sugar in your meal. The price is quite reasonable. We recommend this restaurant & will visit again.
