Had the pleasure to work with Steve and Herman on the closing of my purchase and they have been excellent to work with!They were very friendly and professional, guided and helped us through the entire process.Definitely recommend, and already recommended them to another friend who is looking for lawyers assistance in closing their purchase this month.

Steve Chan is very unprofessional with his services, and as well not responsive at all to the general public. He will ignore you if you are no significance to him. Steve was rude and ignored us, at least his workers were okay.

The lawyer Chen is very good and is very responsible.

I had a very bad experience, and would not recommend to anyone, Mr Chan was not respectful and over charge.

I pay him to close my condo. Right after I paid him $8000 to close my condo he stop contacting me. Later i found out that this lawyer is shady from many people. Worst lawyer ever.

My landlord use Steve as their Lawyer. They held my deposit for my Landlord after the lease termination and charged me $1500 in lawyer fees. They just deducted it out of my Deposit.I needed receipt for the charges and they failed to provide it to me. So naturally I went to their office in person requesting it. He said because he doesn't represent me, he can not speak with me or have any contact with me. He says will have his clerk send me the receipt. That was months ago.I have since contacted them more than 5 times about getting an receipt for the charges and they have failed to provide it or respond to me every single time. They told me they will provide it to me at first then just stopped responding to me for the request of receipt.

When I called the phone was not answered in English even though this is Canada. Then I did not receive a call back. Guess Steve doesn't need the business.

Worked mostly with legal secretary. She was friendly but the practice in general wasn’t as professional. Watch out for the hidden fees.They failed to understand my situation (a simple fact that I am a first time home buyer) and charged me more to fix the issue for land transfer rebates. It makes me wonder if the initial “misunderstanding” was intentional just so they could charge more. If that’s the case, it’s a practice that focuses on their short term profit. Do not recommend.

Sent out an email roughly 2.5 weeks ago to them, asked for Steve to email me back, to things sorted out/ to confirm if he had received my email. There was no response until now. Least he could have done was ask an associate/ assistant/ anybody, to get back to me. I even called the establishment lift a message and my number. I called a second time, and the receptionist could have told Steve to call me back. Nothing happened.
