Cora Breakfast and Lunch
I’m sitting at my table having been waiting 45 minutes since seated and 30 minutes since my order was last taken. The waitress at no point came over to check in or update us. I had to walk over to the register to speak to a random hostess and that’s when the waitress assigned to us decided to step in and say they are busy so we need to be patient. Horrible service. My poor kid was starving. No way is over 40 minutes of waiting acceptable at any restaurant. And the way it was handled was horrible

I went here for breakfast last weekend for the first time and it was AMAZING! Erin (I may have misspelled her name) was the best waitress. Super attentive, friendly and engaging in a way that made me feel like I was amongst friends. It made the experience of their delicious food even better. I had the Elise French Toast dish and my boyfriend had the Montreal Smoked Meat Skillet - the skillet was so good, he had two! Definitely go to try their breakfast skillets before the end of April - there is a skillet festival going on so they have some special varieties right now! Also, their Maple Latte Cup is the best specialty coffee I've had in a long time.

I loved how family friendly this place is. They had a kids menu packed with all the yummy waffles and lots of pancakes but everything is topped up with so many fruits it makes it feel so delicious and colourful. My eggs Benedict were delicious and my kids loved their food.The service was great and the waitress was nice and friendly.The place is packed so if it’s the weekend be prepared to wait 5-10min.We would go back for sure

This was the first time we try Cora. I just want to begin with how friendly the waitress was. She was exceptional and made the whole experience lovely. The food was great. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly made. We also loved the cozy feeling the restaurant has. It is a kids friendly place as well. I would highly recommend trying this place.

Cora Breakfast and Lunch
Stopped by here a few weeks ago with some friends as they just moved to whitby. Tried this place out and can honestly say the food was really good. If you like breakfast of course. We were welcomed by this lovely young lady named Carmen who was very welcoming and showed us to our table. She did recommend the pancakes and eggs benedict which were really good. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was really nice and we really enjoyed the customer service and food as well. Will be my go to next time im up in whitby. :)

This is our favourite breakfast spot in Durham! The food is fresh, presented beautifully, and tastes amazing. Portions are generous. In addition to the bright and inviting atmosphere ,The service from the staff is always friendly and welcoming! If you haven’t been to Cora Whitby I highly recommend you give one of their delicious breakfast or lunch options a try. You won’t be disappointed, we have tried many items on their menu its hard to pick a favourite, and we always leave happy and full!

Food was good, service was good. However, when you have a special for $1 kids breakfast you should put the proper charges on the bill. I drove myself and 2 kids down for this reason. I ordered a meal over $14 and was charged full price for both my kids meals. One should have been $1. The waitress left me with the machine and put the bill under and walked away. I couldn’t find her after and felt like a pest so I just left. However now I will not return. Super annoying, your special. You should be honouring it without customers having to ask for it. It’s advertised all over the radio...

Cora's is definitely one of the original breakfast spots left that has not cut the quality or taste. For around $11.99 you can get 2 eggs, bacon/ sausage/ Turkey sausage, potatoes, toast & fruit - that's a pretty good deal. The fruit is always fresh & the eggs are always made well!

Location was very busy due to $1 kids meal deal.Staff was excellent and on top of the situation.Meal was great. Yum, love eating here!
