EDIT, June 24, 2020:Dropped off my prescription and was told that they did not have my medication in stock (again...), and that they would phone me when I could pick it up. One month passes – no phone call. I called my doctor to inquire; my doctor called the pharmacy, called me back, and told them that they thought my prescription was for ANOTHER similar medication, and that my original medication had been in stock the entire time. This location is so incompetent that I would recommend you drive the extra 5 minutes to any of the surrounding pharmacies.Original review, October 2019:Dropped off my prescription; the PA at the desk went to go examine the shelves (presumably to check if my medication was in stock), came back, and told me it would be a 45-minute wait. Came back in 45 minutes, was told it would be finished in another 15 minutes. Came back in 15 minutes, was told it would take another 5 minutes. Came back in 5 minutes and was informed that my medication was not in stock, and I would need to come in the next day to pick it up. Perhaps that is something a patient should be informed of at the very beginning, instead of having to walk out without their medication after over an hour wasted.

Wait times can be a hassle sometimes and quite long but I found that the pharmacist and her staff here were attentive and answered whatever questions were needed. Pick up for presciptions are always quick and painless. I've had minimal issues here but everyone is subject to their own experiences.

So I ordered one month of my prescription two weeks ago and they didn't bother to order it until the day before I was supposed to pick it up. It hadn't arrived yet and they decided to give me 10 days worth that they had in stock. They charged me for all 30 days and were supposed to deliver the rest later that day. Anyway I didn't hear from them for two days so I went there and was then told that I already had all 30 days. I am going to file a complaint with the college of pharmacy.

For convenience I moved my prescription from a different pharmacy to this one. BIG MISTAKE!!! they are aweful. I gave them a week before I had to fill my prescription to transfer over (it’s just BC PILLS) I showed up a week later to get my prescription.. waited 25 mins in a non existent line (yup I’m the only one waiting) only to finally get called up to be told that they don’t have a record of that happening. I told them who it was and that I need my pills RIGHT NOW as I have to start them today. They apologized and told me to come back tonight. I refused to except that until they did what they had to do in front of me. So they called the other competent pharmacy, got it transferred over ( took 5 mins) then told me it would take an hour and a half to fill ( 1.5 hrs to put a sticker on a box of birth control pills… WHAT!!!)Again I refused to except that and they told me if I pay they will deliver them for free.. I agreed… now I go to pay and my insurance isn’t set up ( they other lady a week ago took 35 mins setting it up) so again I had to wait for them to do this. I paid and was out of there in 57 mins with no meds had to still wait. They got delivered at 5:30pm. I was there first thing in the mornnng. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS..

If they tell you that it'll take 20 minutes, assume 45 minutes. If they tell you that it'll take 30 minutes, assume an hour and a half. Basically, regardless of when you submit your prescription, regardless of how you submit it (in-person, telephone, through your doctor), just assume it will take 1-2 working days. When you go to pick it up, if there is 1 person ahead of you, assume that you will wait 5-10 minutes. If there are 2 people ahead of you, assume 10-20 minutes. Even though you will see 5-6 people behind the counter, only 1 of them is available to interact with the hoi polloi at a time. And definitely do not expect any acknowledgment that you've been waiting for a long time. On the plus side, you get those PC Optimum points.

Alrighty folks, this is gonna be a long one so grab a snack, get comfy and be prepared to freakin read about my ~ experience ~ with this disappointing pharmacy. So I first went there in September to pick up a prescription which was all good, except there was a hiccup with my insurance so I had to pay full price. The pharmacist said this was common with my insurance and that I'd just be given a refund for the amount that my insurance would usually cover next time I came in. All good, no one's fault. Life goes on and my meds are starting to run out, so I tried calling 3 times, on 2 separate days to ask them to fax my doctor to refill the prescription. No answer. So now I go into the store (which wasn't ideal considering COVID and all but oh well) and ask the pharmacist there if they could fax my doctor about the refill. They said they would, and would call me when the prescription was ready. Great! All was well. After waiting 10 DAYS with no call back + me trying to call them to get an answer (but of course, no answer) I finally get a call back telling me that my refund from before was ready and that I need to come in to get it. I agree and say that I'll come in tomorrow to get it. I also tried inquiring about the prescription refill/fax as well, but they quickly hang up before I get a chance to say anything. So the next day comes and I go in to get the refund and ask about that fax. They have NO CLUE what refund I'm talking about. None. I tell them that they literally CALLED ME the day before to come get this. No one has any idea what I'm talking about and they say they'll call me tomorrow sometime after 5:00pm about it". OK fine

Unfortunately I have to give an undeserved star in order to leave a review. My drop off for the prescription went fine, and I was told to pick up my prescription about an hour later. I showed up for pick up, and the lady was not clearly communicating what so ever. She told me to pick it up tomorrow, and I told her it was supposed to be ready since I came back 1.5 hours later. I was told to wait aside, waited for 20 mins until a different worker asked me if I needed something. I told her I was waiting for my medication, and she grabbed it right away. After finally receiving it, I was later told I had no coverage, however I knew I did and they denied it. Tired of waiting, I paid full price and left. Terrible communication and efficiency, won’t go there again.

This pharmacy is not providing quality services to the community. Some staff are not professional either. There were a few times when I dropped off the prescriptions and was told they would be ready in one hour and were not ready when I came to pick up them three hours later. It’s very disappointing. I live close by but have decided to go to another pharmacy.

(Did anyone actually read Gryffin Gimli's essay-length review? Any chance we could get the Cliffnotes version? lol) My only complaint is that if there's a person holding up the line by asking many questions, the other staff won't open the second register until there are almost a dozen people in line, then they help the next person in line and then close the register. If they would open the second register when it becomes apparent there is a difficult customer standing at the till, it would save time and headaches for everyone

One of the worst pharmacy in the city, it takes for ever to get your order. lineups all the time, staff not looking happy. The only positive side is the pharmacist, super friendly and she took her time to explain and consult.
