Great ambiance, excellent food, good selection food and drink, great menu with price ranges for all, friendly, attentive, helpful staff. The vibe of this place is great. The waterfall garden at the entrance is a very nice touch. Classy place without a classy price.

It’s nice room but that’s where the good parts end. You’ll be greeted by napkin wrapped fork and knife. No water was offered. The room was very cold. The place was busy but even so, 45 minutes to get drinks? The mains are a small steak, a lobster(?) pasta, a chicken breast and salmon. We ordered steak and lobster paparadelle. The steak, once the gluey topping was scraped off was not bad. The lobster whatever was curious: some pieces of what might have once been lobster and a strange pinkish sauce that featured, mostly, salt.After two requests we finally got water. It was good.Our waitress was nice but not attentive.There are good restaurants in Perth. This is not one of them.

We choose The Locks Restaurant as our venue for our wedding this May 2023. The whole experience from the first meeting to after the wedding had been anything but exceptional. Lindsay and Janet were helpful in the planning process and Ryan the chief was on point and amazing with the food that was served. We couldn't have been happier. We are so grateful for everything that was done throughout this process, they were accommodating and helpful with everything. They were so patient and understanding, all my questions and mind changes.The Wedding Day was amazing, everything was so perfect. From the ceremony in the park right beside the locks, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing everything was perfect. Lindsay & Ryan and their staff were amazing. They were always patient and one step ahead and it made a huge difference for us and our stress level, they took it all away and we enjoyed all the moments our day had to offer. I really can't thank everyone enough for helping us make our day so perfect.

Second time here. The first time was with work last summer after we finished our job. Dining outside was superb. This time, I stayed in the simplicity of burgers & their The Locks Smokey Bacon Cheeseburger" was one of the best

We chose The Locks as our venue for our brunch wedding, and could not be happier with how everything went, the level of service, as well as the value for money. From the moment we first met with Lindsay (and Janet from Best Western Perth) we immediately felt like they cared just as much as we did about making our day special. Given the uniqueness of a brunch wedding, Lindsay made sure everything went flawlessly, including the amazing set up of our wedding on the day. Ryan and the team in the kitchen also prepared amazing food for our buffet, that some of our guests are still talking about! The fact that we went from planning to the day of in 5 months, with minimal stress was amazing. Lindsay had full wedding planners done and was so incredibly patient and organized. We also must thank the owner Kim for allowing us to have our two big dogs in our ceremony, it meant the world to us, and the staff were so unbelievable patient as we tried to keep them calm in the wedding party waiting area. We also had a somewhat informal rehearsal dinner as well, which was just as great, with the same excellent level of service. We will likely pop back into The Locks for a meal next time we are in Perth.

We ordered a rib Steak and cheese burger. The steak was well seasoned and delicious. The cheeseburger was a bit dry. It could have had more sauces and the patty was too thick and overcooked. But overall it was a nice atmosphere and the service we received was nice and professional.

We had breakfast here too and it was very good. I appreciate they automatically gave ketchup with the scrambled eggs. Plus my vegetarian dish was enough for 2 people. It was amazing and i would have the vegetarian dish again.

Staff were WONDERFUL, but food fell VERY short. Wouldn't recommend unless you're coming for a pint and a sandwich on the patio. Otherwise, salmon was very dry and should not be paired with pureed sweet potato. The baked brie was nice, but paired with few crustinee and supplemented with regular crackers, along with nice candied walnut, but jarred tiny green olives.Again, staff were lovely!!!! But the food is not worth the price.

Stayed at the Beat Western and had dinner at the Locks Perth. The night we were there we were lucky and they had a live musician playing during dinner. Really added to the ambiance of the evening.The food is delicious, service is friendly the decor is beautiful and there is a good selection of menu items.Breakfast is served in the adjacent room to the Locks. Breakfast was good as well.
