One this particular day 06/29/2023 A&W had a special on their Mama Burgers (with drink & fries) for $5.99 + HST. Went thru the Drive-Thru, gave them my order and paid at wicket. Food was excellent the russet fries were cooked and fried to perfection with a pinch of salt. The Mama Burger was hot and fresh also, with condiments. Nice staff-Better then other A&W’s I’ve frequented before.Bring back the “Whistle Dog” and “Chubby Chicken”.

I would have given 6 stars but that is not possible! Amazing staff and amazing service. The food was hot and was made very fast. I was really surprised. Right when i finished paying and the cashier handed me my receipt, my name was called! It was really really fast. The smoothies and shakes are to die for. I strongly recommend this location. Me and my family come to this location regularly and also order it from UberEats. Just amazing! This location is better management wise compared to other locations, but being on Barton St. the people that come in are not that pleasant, props to the staff for holding it down.

This place does not deserve even one star. They told us to 10mins to get the food. This is what we got after waiting 10mins.

I like A and W Canada, it is the second largest franchise burger place and I hope it can become number one one day. It serve Canadian beef and taste great. Though it's slightly more expensive than the largest franchise, I usually make use of online coupon or special combo deal. I have mama burger combo. It is close to where I work. I also like the discount for senior ' a coffee though you cannot combine it with a combo.

A&w is always a great place to grab some burgers and sides. I went there while I was dropping someone at the go station. I grabbed a few burgers and fries and everything tasted amazing. I recommend visiting if you are nearby. You will love the food for sure.

review date: april 20, 2022customer service dates: 3x since sept 2021-april 18/22photos: april 18, 2022the a&w restaurant, located at barton and ferguson, is a 24-hr, 7-days a week facility serving a variety of fast food options.i have drastically cut back in burgers and fast food due to a need for myself to eat healthier. on occasion, i do come here to catch some late night munchies.the night shift girl, to her credit, was polite and patient with my questions, and making sure she was best able to accommodate my topping requests.i ordered 1 medium onion rings, 1 chicken habajenaro burger and 2 papa burgers. all-in, came out to $33.11. the food was tasty, the order done correct. once in a blue moon, a night of burger food isn't too bad.bottom line: a&w's best redeeming quality in the barton-wellington area, is that it's open 24-7. their burgers are tasty, but i have my own rotation of healthier, more cost effective food alternatives.

I was down the street at Hamilton General Hospital for a test, and was reminded by staff it was my birthday! So, as a treat, I stopped at this A&W location for breakfast, and because of a remembrance to my late father who just enjoyed having an A&W breakfast with his coffee.I couldn't help over hear the counter staff worker, Devon, who had the most pleasant voice and impeccable customer service skill set I have witnessed in a very long time, or ever, while she was dealing with drive through customers, and also taking my order. It was a pleasant surprise that I did not expect to experience. So glad I stopped by. And, oh, yeah, you can't beat the fresh made breakfast for it's price point!

they are good folks. Sometimes the drive thru throws the accountability of assigned orders out of wack for staff serving walk-in customers but they are always super duper busy at the drive thru station for the most part, all the staff are good mild tempered people so don't sweat any forgetfulness just check your stuff and if you need or are missing anything like your drink or condiments go back to the counter and give them a heads up, for the traffic they handle they do an excellent job
