UGH!! I wanted to love this lock!! I was so excited to install it. We programmed it and tested the lock before closing the door. Once I closed the door and locked it - IT WOULDN'T UNLOCK!! No customer support on the weekend! We tried the reboot option and the battery backup. We even tried to pop the door from the hinges, but nothing worked. WE HAD TO SAWZAL THE LOCK FROM THE DOOR TO OPEN IT!! I called customer service this morning and while extremely pleasant, they only offered the suggestion that if I do buy another one of their locks to purchase the one with the key options as well. We unfortunately are not buying another Alfred, even with a keyed entry I am not confident it would open since the issue is with the deadbolt retracting back into the unit. SO WE ARE OUT THE COST OF THE DOOR, OUR TIME, NEED TO RETURN THE LOCK AND FIND ANOTHER MORE SUITABLE AND WORKING OPTION!! Very frustrated!!

Long lasting battery life to get through the cold winters we experience in Canada. Coming from someone who has tried the competition, just get an Alfred and save your time and money.

I’ve had a DB2 model on my front door for a while now and I absolutely love it. Very easy to use and the one touch feature is very handy.
