Excellent staff, great facility, and friendly community environment. They make it fun, and challenging for the kids, and really encourage them to achieve their best! I'd recommend Hong Park TKD to anyone.

Very professional and friendly. When i first looked at enrolling my kids into a martial arts program 5 years ago I visited a couple of different places and Hong Park by far was the best fit for my kids. I realize that one of the core teachings through martial arts is discipline, but I wanted my kids to enjoy learning this new skill and the discipline to be a by product of the experience. At Hong Park I found that the introduction was soft and the instructors were patient. They recognize that each child is different and provide them the guidance they need to excel at their own pace. If you are looking for a Dojang to enrol your child in, I would highly recommend you visit Hong Park Taekwondo.

Hong Park Tae Kwon Do College is a family friendly do-jang in South Edmonton.With an emphasis on technique and discipline, students of this school work closely with one another, and form strong bonds of camaraderie, friendship and respect.I've trained with the group at Hong Park for nearly 2 years, and count both seniors and colour belt juniors as my extended family.Master Park keeps a watchful eye on his instructional staff and senior instructor Mr. Gallagher exhibits exceptional technique, patience, and demonstrates all of the characteristics sought after by students, and the parents of junior students.I cannot recommend the school highly enough in a simple review.To appreciate the openness, warmth, and dedication of the instructional staff and student body, one must attend training sessions and see them with an open mind.As a 40 year old starting martial arts with NO athletic background, the school has taken me on a journey of self discovery, and introduced me to the abilities I had within. It has also given me a group of close friends who work alongside me (junior and senior) for the betterment of all of us.If you are looking for an outlet, exercise, a fun yet disciplined environment for your child (over 4) - look no further.

I am former student who transferred here from another school. While I no longer train, I have very fond memories of training at Hong Park. Master Park, Mr. Park and Mr. Gallagher were great to me and helped me achieve things I never thought I could. The classes are fun but intense, and their facilities are clean and well-kept.That being said, keep in mind that this is NOT a competition-oriented school, so if your dream to is to compete at international events, this is probably not the school for you.

This is a great place for Tae Kwon Do when you are paying them monthly. But when you asked to stopped the payment as our son stopped having interest in more training. They only offered us credit for future classes when we know our son doesn't want to take anymore classes.I tried to resolve the issue with them and their Master but they still insisting on giving me credit. I told them the credit is useless if our son doesn't want to take the class. How can we force our son to take something if he has no more interest in it?Therefore make sure if you are going to stop taking their classes, make sure you give them 30 day notice by completing their notice form one month ahead or they won't do refund and only offer you credit. Also, don't believe or rely on their receptionist to give you the form over by email. She forgot to email it to me so make sure you get it straight from their office. I made this mistake and that is why it was late and it was not a full 30 day notice.Fortunately, the bank helps me a lot more than them and was able to get a refund from the bank. After this incident, my family will not be coming back to this place anymore.

My kids love Hong Park TKD cause of the sense of community & fun they have. The instructors act with respect, & model everything they teach: values, & skills. They are encouraging, kind, & understanding. Their instructors are also very, very good at TKD from Mr. Park all the way through. I love that they don't have contracts either; they stand behind their product!

I can't thank enough to Mr. Park, after 25 years I start training TKD again, also got my kids training, we are all very happy with the experience.Clean facility, nice parking, approachable staff.

We brought our daughter to Hong Park TaeKwondo because she wanted to try and we found a groupon. I'm glad that this is the school we ended up at. The instructors are great with the students. They are patient, understanding, and teach and expect respect while allowing the students to enjoy themselves and grow. I enjoy watching the instructors interact with their classes.

My son has been going here for around 5 years now. The staff here is absolutely amazing with children, and my son absolutely loves taekwondo days. They teach your child amazing values and manners along with the physical aspects. J would highly recommend Hong Park to any parent looking for something that will really benefit your child all around.
