Lunch time on a Friday was extremely busy. They did their very best to accommodate our order which had quite a few exceptions. The food was very nicely cooked, despite the crazy busy time.

Cant go wrong with DaRosa! The food is consistent and yummy. Their Portuguese chicken is the best in the area in my opinion. If you're working in the fashion district I find restaurant options are limited, so this is definitely a go to lunch spot for me. And its cheap and cheerful!

4.5/5One of a kind Portuguese cafe and eatery located in a laid back neighborhood. What me and my friends loved the best about this place was the complementary portuguese bread and butter they serve before the food. They specialize in home style Portuguese food which is healthy as well. The atmosphere is generally very warm, welcoming and laidback.Their crispy fish fillets with potato balls and rice with olives is a classic must try.

Darosa Catering party trays: We ordered catering for about 30 adults and 20 kids. We got 10 chickens, and 1 tray each of rice, potatoes, veggies & salad. I added other stuff like meatballs and 4 pizzas from fortinos. Everything was great, on time, and cost $350. Chicken breasts were left whole (too much for one portion) so my mom quickly needed to cut them up before guests arrived.

The food was great but the service was not that good i think because the girl was alone that day and is too much for her to deal with, in overall was not that bad

Cozy little corner. Small but authentic and comfortable. The food is good as well as portions. Prices are moderate. The staff is friendly. No parking. Must park on the streets surrounding.

Fresh, healthy Portuguese food at amazing prices.As someone who is new to the cuisine, I could tell by the largely Portuguese clientele that the authenticity of the cuisine served by this establishment.Although the food here was largely bland for my spice loving tastebuds, the peri peri sauce condiment on the table was sufficient to slightly elevate the flavours. Nevertheless, the friendly staff, huge portions and healthiness of the food deserves recognition and I would definitely recommend DaRosa to anyone looking for Portuguese food in the midtown area of Toronto.

Love love love this restaurant. Prices are reasonable, service is very good. Maria the owner, is a hard working woman. One of her waitresses must be cloned. She's exceptional. On the other hand, the husband should be more helpful.

What a great restaurant!Prices are incredibly fair, and the food is amazing, especially the potatoes!The owner/staff were incredibly welcoming as well, and it was very pleasant ordering.Excellent COVID protocols, felt safe the entire time. Ate on the patio which was extremely nice, and covered completely with an awning.Would absolutely come back, thank you for a great experience for the first patio experience of 2021!

Now... hear me out I'm not a Portuguese guy but this has gotta be the best price and taste for massive portions I've ever had.Last time I remember having food that tasted so home made I was at my buddies avos and she pointed a knife at me asking if I wanted some food. Sure I didn't know what she was saying but I could smell it.Really what I'm saying is if you want to know what they mean by like grandma used to make before she went to prison" this is the place to go."
