While usually this place is 5 stars, it now gets 2 because of the bad taste left in my mouth. Missed out on work to go get an oil change just to get there and be told “mechanic had to leave, can’t do it today” (there was more of an explanation but this is the jest of it), and that I could re-book over a week later or go “first come first serve” at Cole harbour. If you book an appointment, it should be kept or fit in at the next available time, and a phone call should be made instead of allowing a customer to waste their time getting there to tell them. This isn’t a jab at the mechanic, not his fault, stuff happens, but a phone call instead of waiting for people to show up, or working with the customer to fit them in would have alleviated this whole situation. They do good work, at a decent price, just the customer service was lacking this time.

Thanks again to Tom and the crew at the Bedford Highway location. On a busy Friday at what is always a busy shop, they fit us in and helped us with the tire repair fix we needed. Diligent, direct, and effective. Courteous and clear. Very happy with the work and the attention to our needs. Kept our vehicle on the road.

The worst car service experience in Halifax that I have had so far. They didn’t meet my expectations that was about the some issues with suspension system of my vehicle that they even didn’t touch it but I got charged for that.

Disappointed.My review will be based on customer service and best practice.I had an appointment booked Sat 9am, to replace a part as maintenance which would take 1.5hr. I was told to make sure to be back by 11:45 to pick up vehicle when it's complete.As I left with my ride to do some errands, I was called to come back to talk. When I arrived, I was told the job could not be complete due to timing, lack of resources, and I was differed to go to Cole Harbour where they have another bigger location that could handle this quoted job.I was looking forward to quality service for my vehicle, instead my time was wasted and I could've booked somewhere else a couple weeks ago if they simply could've been transparent during the booking. Upon speculation it appears they have overbooked this particular Saturday and had to drop some tasks regardless of appointment.I'm certain they provide good work, however, I will not know unfortunately and I will be differing my business elsewhere that is more considerate of their customer's time.

It's not a mechanic, it's a joke. I came to them to buy and put tires to balance the wheels and collapse of convergence. When I picked up the car, it turned out that they put me used old tires of another brand. And they wanted to sell them at the price of new ones. After picking up the car, I felt something strange was happening to the car, I went to another mechanic to check their work and it turned out that they did not balance the wheels, and the collapse of the convergence because the bolts were not touched

Kudos to Shawn, Tom and the entire staff there today. Was in and out with new shoes and great service at 2:10 when my appt was on the books for 2pm. Listening to Shawn chat with a bmw customer today brought back some faith in people today. Will be back again! Thanks folks!

I called the in the morning and they squeezed me in to change and balance two tires, free of charge! It took 5-10 minutes and I was on my way. I will definitely be coming back when I need my tires changed again.
