Chilitos Taqueria Farmers Market
We used to love the breakfast from Chilitos at Farmers Market. Before the pandemic I would definitely rate it 5 out of 5. Unfortunately, not any more. Several times we got cold food. Last weekend specifically the breakfast potatoes were completely cold and the eggs were coolish. I observed that the eggs were sitting on the plates, cooling off while the cook was still trying to warm up the potatoes. Obviously bad planning/ training. The additions (like cilantro, onion, salsa) are given to the customers only if they ask, in small plastic containers, which are not recyclable. Why would not the clerk add them with spoon for each customer ( like it is done at Subway for example)? The menu used to be written on a blackboard where it was easily visible. Now you have to scan the QR code for the menu… why?

Don't waste your time or money, shrimp tacos tasted like nothing. No flavour in the shrimp, the salsa, or the guacamole. Unless you love the taste of shredded lettuce, skip this place altogether.

Chilitos Taqueria Farmers Market
My boyfriend and I made a trip to the market to have lunch and ended up dining here. The food was fantastic! We ordered the flautas which were delicious and fresh, and the taco sample plate which was 3 tacos and any protein you wanted. We got the chorizo, chicken and slow cooked pork, they were all extremely tasty, but the chorizo was the most flavorful. It was a perfect shared lunch and not too expensive. We will return when we get in the mood for tacos.

Chilitos Taqueria Farmers Market
Very overpriced. Two fish tacos (smaller than the size of my hand) with maybe 3-4 small chunks of fish for $12...The taste was fine but I couldn’t enjoy knowing I paid $12 for such a small portion. 3 bites and done :/ I had to go get a plate of Butter Chicken + Naan from Shef’s kitchen to fill me up (and I’m not a big eater). Please reconsider your pricing, thanks.

Chilitos Taqueria Farmers Market
I'm from Southern California and I've been missing a good mini taco. This place was great. Lot of meat so they're super messy, but hey, I could eat It'sa pound of it. It's got that perfectly stewed red sauce that I miss so much. And the salsa, is nice and flavorful. Definitely worth the money!

Chilitos Taqueria Farmers Market
My girlfriend and I ordered the nachos, fish empanada, and tostada. All of them were really good. They were very generous with shrimp on the tostada and it was well-cooked and seasoned. The fish empanada with avocado slices on top had tons of flavour and by far was my favourite. The nachos were good as well, because they make their own chips. They also gave us cheese empanada for free, due to their own mistake of cooking cheese empanada instead of what we ordered, which was the fish empanada. VERY GENEROUS I tell you. I would recommend!

It was nice that we can dine-in but it was impossible to find a table! It would be nice if they condone off some of the parking spots outside and set up more table seatings.

Came here on a Sunday for lunch and had the al pastor buritto bowl which was quite tasty. I'm realizing I'm not such a huge beans fans though so I would order it without beans next time. Quite tasty with the pineapple though!

The chicken tinga quesadilla was much smaller than I expected after paying $16. The tortillas weren’t crispy like you would expect, and they leaked so much liquid that in the five minutes it took to finish the first piece, the other two were soaked through and became soggy. The fillings themselves were very tasty, and are the only reason this isn’t a one-star review. Don’t get the quesadilla, it’s a waste of money, but it could be worth trying the chicken in another dish.
