Laviolette Flowers & Wedding Decor

There were a few hiccups, which is why I'm not giving five stars but in the end I was extremely blown away by the bouquets and the boutonnieres for my wedding in October.

We used Laviolette flowers for our wedding (boutonnière, bridal bouquets, church bouquets) in Oct 2022. I give Laviolette flowers 1 star as the flowers themselves were pretty, however, there was a few last minute changes and errors on their part. I was contacted 2 days before our wedding asking to change the plans as they wanted to drop the boutonnières off a day before the wedding instead and pick up our centrepieces/party favours (we paid extra to have same day coordination). While this isn’t the end of the world, stress is high close to the wedding, in addition we were promised same day delivered fresh flowers, but yet the boutonnières were dropped off a dat in advance and had to be stored properly in order to keep. They picked up our centrepieces (candles and candle holders) and our party favours the day before as well and we paid extra for them to set it up the same day at our venue which was a good option to have. However, we lost items we paid for because of this. There were 50 extra party favours and extra candles and candle holders that were placed under a box under our gift table after set up and no one told us this until I personally reached out to Lynn by text asking her what happened to the extras. She told me to contact the venue as she put them in a box under the gift table but didn’t tell us nor anything at the wedding. Venue has not replied to us since. I blame them both (laviolette flowers and venue). The party favours even had our names on them, and the candles and candle holders weren’t cheap… very disappointed and we had zero party favours for us (the married couple) to keep and wasted money on the extra candles and candle holders that were perhaps thrown out due to her miscommunication.We met with Lynn twice and both times felt the sense she kept trying to sell us more services from her and kept telling us the choice we made for a backdrop through a different vendor wasn’t going to be good enough and that we should pay double the price to go with her - we stuck with our original vendor for the backup and we’re sure happy we did.. The second time we met up she had completely forgot about our scheduled meeting and when I called from the Laviolette flower shop in Rockland after driving from Ottawa, apologized and showed up 30 minutes late.

We had the most wonderful experience dealing with Lynne of Laviolette Flowers and Decor for our daughter's wedding. She took the vision that my daughter had and brought it to life in the most beautiful way possible. She listened to everything we wanted and made the best suggestions to bring everything to the next level - her creativity and expertise is unmatched; not to mention that she is about the nicest person ever! We were so impressed when we got to the venue and saw how beautiful everything looked. We cannot recommend them enough!

Where to start! We are so incredibly happy with how the décor and flowers turned out for our wedding on June 1st, 2019. Ray came to install the backdrop with lighting the day before the wedding, which was absolutely breathtaking! He made sure on multiple occasions that I was happy with everything, and his attention to detail was incredible! On the day of the wedding, Lynne went above and beyond on so many levels. The flowers were amongst the most gorgeous I have ever seen, and multiple guests commented on how incredible they were! From the isle décor, to the centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres, my expectations were beyond exceeded. Lynne even stayed for the ceremony, fixed my dress and veil before I walked down the aisle. What florist or decorator does this?! Simply incredible! She then took some of the flowers from outside and brought them inside the venue so that we could enjoy them in the evening. Talk about going above and beyond!We are so happy to have chosen Laviolette Flowers for our big day! I cannot thank you enough Lynne and Ray!

Lynn and Ray provided the decorations and flowers for our wedding at St. Elias. What a great team to work with! Professional service and flexible given all the last minute changes due to covid! Our wedding wouldn't have been possible without them! I'd simply send Lynn a photo of what I liked and she would provide it, we feel truly lucky to have worked with them! All our guests loved the decor and flowers, and commended us on an elegant wedding (this is the word we used to describe our vision to Lynn). You'd never regret using this team for your event!

I would like to say 1,000 stars but only able to do 5. My mother in law is doing assisted death March 7 and the fact that I live in Calgary Alberta and my MIL is in Hammond Ontario was not feasible for us to attend. We originally ordered flowers from a different company with empty promises. I was devastated. It was critical time-wise that the flowers be received before the due date of her expiry. Laviolette Flowers went above and beyond for me. They even delivered at the end of a big snowstorm with no hesitations. She was very comforting and would recommend using them as they are wonderful!

Lynn and Ray are AMAZING at what they do. They work so hard to deliver the perfect décor and flowers. They did my wedding and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!
