Nice library, with a reasonable selection of books, including manga for teens. Every time I've been there, there have been a range of vulnerable patrons, and the staff always appear to treat them, and everyone else, with kindness, respect, and empathy. Hats off! Those of a sensitive olfactory disposition may wish to wear a face mask, and those of a sensitive aural disposition should bring headphones. I am glad to be a patron in a space that reflects the community at large. I've not been upstairs ... yet.

I have been using the library my whole life but I can't understand why this location is such a disappointment, every time something goes wrong. Arrived 2 minutes before closing today, staff member rudely slammed the door in front of my face. Library supposed to be a safe and welcoming place for a community, this makes one feel very unwelcomed. Whoever you are, hope you do better and treat people with more respect or maybe consider a different career.

The place is so noisy and it is so difficult to study here. Upstairs is ALWAYS closed. Why do they even call it as a library. A subway station might be quieter.

Disgusting! Rude and disrespectful staff!! This place only allows crazy people to roam around and picks on people who are simply trying to read a book. There are barely any chairs and when I tried to switch seats and sit with my partner after literally hiding from a crazy person that was roaming around, the librarian" told us "not here"! As if we were doing something inappropriate. I was simply sitting with my partner minding our business and he told me to get off the chair that I will break it!! And pushing us to leave when we did nothing at all. Well provide more sturdy chairs then. Incredibly rude!! Other than the poor selection of books

The computer is so slow that it took 25 minutes to download a single MS Word document. Over the next 35 minutes the computer froze so many times simply from me trying to type sentences in the document, that the 60 minute session expired and all my work was lost. Hopeless! The library is 5 minutes away from my house but it ended up being faster to commute 1 hour to my office, edit the document on the computer there, and commute 1 hour back home.

The librarians here are so incredibly kind. All throughout Covid they’ve been putting together curated book bags for children, contests, art projects with all of the supplies. It’s been an absolute delight to pick up a new bag each week and learn and explore a new topic in an age-appropriate way. I cannot thank the staff enough for how much they care for the kids in the community.

The staff at my Danforth and Coxwell branch are all so professional and always go the extra mile to help you look for a book, use the printer and computers. It's very well maintained and I love how they have crafts ready to take home for the kids and kids at heart in the area.
