Due to my doctors religion I have to see another doctor due to birth control, and he was the one available. I have been on birth control for six years and the pills were causing depression so I switched to depo to see if it would help. I’ve been having bad reactions due to the depo shot and he said “suck it up for the three months because I can’t take it out of you.” He also told me I need to look at blogs for all the other types of birth controls. Ending it with “If you don’t like any of them then just get pregnant.” I also asked for what I can do to relieve the pain because it has been effecting my job and all he said was “ibuprofen.” Even though I told him it hasn’t been working. He made me feel like my appointment was useless and didn’t even bother to do other tests incase the symptoms weren’t related to the depo. leaving the Doctors office feeling helpless is the worst feeling.

Dr.Hamilton by far hands down has been the most helpful Doctor for myself and family.Always willing to take a moment to discuss options regarding quality of care and at no time ever made us feel “un heard”. Understanding medications and effects are monumental to myself and this gentleman has always left me feeling safe in my decisions.As a family of 4, it is so reassuring knowing that we have a Doctor that truly cares about each of our well beings. He cares about us as individuals and as a family.Thanks John

Takes time to listen to concerns, answers all questions, I've only had him be late for one appointment in all the years I've gone to him and that was because of an emergency.

This other review is so wrong about Dr John Hamilton ,he is the best docter in bc.It would take writing a novel size book to describe how hes helped me and my childWe adore John Hamilton

best Dr hands down

Dr. Hamilton has been my gp for 10 years and he had misdiagnosed me in the past ignored my brain tumor for his negligence of not taking the time and did not listten to my concerns even though he was told of my family history this went on for few months and only gave me antidepressants then 1 month of medical leave in December of 2010 in Mar of 2011 I collapsed after the meningioma I had ruptured in my head and left me fighting for my life, thankfully I recovered, however. I'm now back to a fsmiliar situation with this Dr not listening to myo concerns once again this time!is my back, I've been in to see him more than twice to not avail finally today I decided to be more proactive with my health and went into a walk in clinic where I was sent for xray of my spine and an emergency ct scan since my left foot has gone numb, Dr Hamilton has chosen to ignored my concerns way to many times so now I'm on the hunt for a new gp in town or in Abbotsford, hopefully my next gp wont be like Hamilton and listen to me as a patient and a human being

Great bedside manner, on time for appointments. Spends time listening. I get the sense he really cares about his patients and it's obvious he enjoys his career.
