General Gas Service

Called General Gas Services to install our fireplace we just purchased. Keith responded right away and told me he could have it installed the next day. Very professional and went right to work as soon as he arrived. He even cleaned up all the mess and the packaging and took it with him. Nice job, thanks Keith!

This guy is a joke. Called to ask him for a quote and he tries to coerce me into getting an immediate appointment. When i don't budge he says don't waste my time and hangs up.

Keith is a thief. He will steal from you. I asked Keith to repair a gas leak. He charged me a ridiculous $140 just to come to my door. He didn’t have the proper tools. I had to loan him my tools. I stepped away for a second to turn the gas on. When he left, tools were missing from my toolbox. When I asked him to return them, he refused to discuss it with me. Any reputable company would deal with this situation. Not him.Don’t be fooled by his website. This is not a “team”. Keith is a one man operation.He is not concerned about customer satisfaction. He does not value his customers.Don’t let this guy into your house. He is a thief. He will steal your property.

Keith was able to come out same-day to put a fitting on an existing, unused gas line (pre-installed in a recent reno) for my new natural gas BBQ. he was very clear about costs, completed the work quickly and neatly and provided some tips on maintaining both my exterior gas line and my gas furnace filters. Highly recommend.

Keith ran a line all through our basement, through our triple brick exterior and to our BBQ. We were so pleased we got him to come back and run in a gas stove line.

I called Keith because gas leak issue. Apparently I was misinformed that Enbridge will cost you arm and leg and possible fines. Keith is honest enough to advise me to call Enbridge and I did. Enbridge technician came and detected gas leak with his probe and manage to swap out the gasket, reseal and painted. He also checked all basement and pipes.Keith I cannot thank you enough for your professionalism and honesty. It might be a loss lead / business for you but my hope this review will help as a return of your kindness. I will definitely hire you for my future gas needs.

Keith estimated a fair price and stuck to it. He installed two stoves at my duplex, the day after I first contacted him. He also moved a gas line that connected to my gas dryer. He is pleasant, conscientious and arrives on time. Thanks Keith, it was a challenge to find a good contractor like you.
