Pippy is always great , had great round today , sep 6 - 2021

Booked the 18 course, never been before, we were sent out on the 9 hole without knowing. When we told the pro shop, they said go ahead and finish the other 9 on the 18 course, but it was pointless because the had turned on the sprinklers. The 18 hope course looked real nice, however it's a shame we had to waste the evening playing the 9 which is sub par.

Great views of the city and signal hill. The conditions on the hill are windy and cold. Cart required as the drive to holes is quite hilly.Greens and course conditions were in rough shape in June.

Excellent service, the staff go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable. The 9 hole is a great little course for a quick round. But if you have the time try the 18, every hole is different and ranges from fairly easy to very challenging. Yes there's many hills but it's not that boring flat course that the fun grows thin after two or three rounds. I would highly recommend, and yes they have senior rates.

Loved it! We play only 9 holes at the Captain Hills course. Rented a cart and clubs. The course is nice and the greens not too bad. I am not a good golfer but I like the sport. This course is fine to get to teeing off, the fairways, and approaching the green. Today was a gorgeous day here in St. John's. Recommended!

Great community based golf course offering a superb 18 hole course and a very forgiving 9 hole course. The 9 hole course Captain's Hill is Perfect for young and old and beginners. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

A nice golf course. Fairly hilly and the terrain is bumpy so carts are recommended. It offers views of St. John's that are spectacular. The greens are well maintained, and the roughs aren't too over deep. There are some water traps that are pleasant to see with ducks, Lilly pads and some fish even.

Really friendly, helpful staff that go out of their way to service golfers.Some of the most scenic views you will get on any golf course and I’ve played all over the world.It has been great to see more of a presence of a course Marshall this summer to ensure speed of play and basic course etiquette is followedIt would be great if there was more of an investment in a sprinkler system … there was a lot of greens with damage and very, very dry conditions this year.We really enjoy playing this course.
