A-1 Firewood

I am a single wheelchair bound woman and spoke to Tim twice to confirm the delivery date. No delivery or call that Friday. I had scheduled family members to help me stack the wood over the weekend. Instead I’m stacking the wood myself on Monday… I won’t be using him again. (Last years summer delivery was after dark?!?)

I found myself low on firewood in the middle of January, and looked all over for a reputable firewood guy - I'm lucky I found Tim. He went out of his way to deliver 2 cords of seasoned, beautiful hardwood in a timely fashion. Tim is honest, and personable, and a pleasure to do business with. We just moved to a house with a fireplace and needed a cord of wood to finish off the season. My wife called one person and no answer, Tim picked up right away and said he had wood in stock. With a quick turnaround, Tim dropped off the wood for us. Long story short, I had to reach back out to Tim about the wood. The next day his crew arrived, a day earlier than promised, and went above to take care of us as customers. I’m very pleased with A-1 as things happen but it’s the response that counts. As soon as we burn through this pile he’ll be our first call.

First of all I want to assure you I am not a fake person or a competitor. We called A1 firewood because of the reviews. Most of the reviews were positive and the ones that weren't Tim explained away as fake or competitors.Tim may say he has never heard of me because my husband called but let me tell you I am real. Last week we found ourselves running low on seasoned wood so mark called and Tim said they had wood and could deliver Friday, that was great, mark spoke to Tim earlier in the day and he said it would be late afternoon before he could get here. That was fine but he never showed or called and we still have no wood. I hope you don't do this to other older people that heat with wood. Very disappointing.

Long, but you need to read...1. There are a few things that I would like to say about my order. First off, he delivered the wood a day before he said that he would. That was a plus. Second, the wood did have a few rotted pieces. You can't win everything... pretty neutral about that. And third, after stacking and measuring, it came out to just over a cord (square feet) and I ordered one and a half. That was a bummer... I am thrilled that I got some delivered on my Class 6 Road up a mountain, but I can't help but be disappointed with the quantity that I received. Overall, Tim was very accommodating and a great person. I just was expecting more... will keep you updated.2. Update! After over 2 weeks of him saying that he'll get me the rest of my wood that I paid for, finally got it to me and it was all wet and full of dirt. He blamed it of someone else for not getting me my full order, even though he is the owner and so far the only one making deliveries. He over charges per cord and it is not fully seasoned as he claims. About 80% is still wet and can't keep my family warm, even in only 250 square feet

I am very satisfied with the firewood that Tim delivered. Tim was easy to get in contact with and scheduled a delivery that worked for me. I was contacted the morning of the delivery to confirm my availability and he delivered as promised. I look forward to doing business with A-1 Firewood in the future.

Amazing experience with Tim. Very professional and friendly. Backed his truck right up to where I needed it dropped, got out of his truck, introduced himself, met my family and was extremely accommodating. Delivered a very generous amount of wood, substantially over the “half cord” I ordered. Delivered it same day. Very seasoned hardwood, great price! Looking forward to going to him again!Thanks Tim!!

We were practically out of wood when i made the call to Tim. He came within a few days. Our street isn’t the best to go down a narrow one way but he made it work. A generous cord, great pricing, great business. Thank you again! We will be coming back for more when needed.

Requested 1.5 cords at 395.00 a cord. Thought it would be 592 and change. Charged me 675.00. Was told they would throw in extra wood coz of delivery charge. Not sure if error was made in pricing as well as what was delivered but looks like maybe 3/4 of a cord at best. It filled my indoor rack and not even half of a small storage I have outdoors. Very disappointed in the amount received for the price paid.
