The absolute go-to place for your Rolex needs. Shlomo is incredibly skilled, professional and kind. He had on hand my two tone link I needed, something that most watchmakers would have to order. And all of this in Grand Rapids! I will be sending in my datejust for service soon. Couldn’t be happier as a customer and 5 stars!

Incredible experience. I had a metal bracelet I was fitting to my watch and unfortunately it would not work out. Without skipping a beat he had 4 recommendations for straps that I could select instead, had it fitted and good to go in less than 10 minutes. I assumed I’d be in there for a while and pay a lot. It was quick and very reasonably priced. Plus, the one he showed me and that I ended up selecting looks even better than the one I brought in to fit! He is an exceptionally humble man with years of experience. He was a delight to talk to and I will be back with all my watch needs.

Thank you Shlomo! Brought seven of my dead watches to this wizard and 45 minutes or so of great conversation later I had seven working (new batteries) watches and new friend. I am glad he was recommended and now I will do the same. If you have time piece troubles, The Watchmaker is the man to see.

Called in with an issue after getting water inside the face of my Rolex, very concerned I had damaged the movement. Shlomo asked me to bring it in ASAP which I did. He estimated the repair and even gave me a watch to wear while he repaired mine. He had it repaired quicker than expected, he warranties his work and is honest! Incredible experience overall. I will never take a watch to anyone else!

I found Shlomo on google and drove 30 minutes to have him repair my sons watch. He was absolutely amazing! So kind and fixed it on the spot in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend this guy!

I inherited a very old Seiko watch from my father, one that is no longer made. It was manufactured sometime between 1973-1975. It appeared to work but I wanted to have it checked out and have it cleaned, polished, etc.I took it to Medewars because they are an authorized Seiko seller and repair location for Seiko. I called after 3 days of no word from them and was told the repair person would not touch it as the watch is very old, obsolete, and parts are no longer available. I went and picked it up and started wearing it daily.Recently the watch was briefly exposed to water from a sprinkler. I noticed moisture under the bezel, not a good thing for a watch at all and especially not good for one this old.I immediately dried it off and placed it in a bowl of rice. After two days most of the moisture was gone from inside but I know that without someone looking at it, it was destined to fail completely.After scouring the internet and reading multiple reviews, I decided to call Shlomo at The Watchmaker. After a brief but detailed discussion I decided to take my watch to him.He did a quick exam of it using the proper eye piece, then quoted me an amount to disassemble the entire watch, replace, clean, polish all parts as required AND back his work up with a 2 year warranty. He explained what was going on with the water inside and how it would affect the watch.While the quote was a bit higher than I was prepared to spend at this time, he offered to drop the cost some but explained he could only go so far down as the process was costly. Not an issue at all, I understand completely.He then offered to open it, get the moisture out of it as best possible and stop at that. I agreed and he mentioned he would not charge me to do that. I told him I was willing to pay for his service even if I did not want to spend the money for the full service but he declined.He began the mini service" and explained what he was doing
