Custom Direct Windows & Doors

I recently had a door installed by Custom Direct Windows & Doors Ltd. What I thought was going to be a great experience actually was short of a nightmare. Everything started great, but the sales representative dropped the ball several times, claiming he never received emails from me, etc. even though he gave a second email to make sure he got it. The door was delayed horribly. Head office took over from their and the put a rush on the door. The door arrived and it was everything and more than I expected. I love it. The installers were absolutely amazing, quick (2 hours door out and new one in), tidy, professional as I said amazing. I was fully expecting some kind of email with customer satisfaction (if you get an oil change in your car you get one), but nothing. I sent an email off the next day to tell them how happy I was with the door, but I had a few little pics that should be taken care of. The door handle had a scratch on it, and the door started squeaking so loud it would wake up the neighbourhood. I reported both things as well as a small mark on the inside, which I was not that fussed about. Four emails later and nothing, not an acknowledgement, nobody came out to fix or look at the door, nothing. I love the door but the customer service/follow up sucks at this place. I would not recommend them to my neighbour the other day because I did not want the same thing happening to them. Two neighbours actually looking for doors for their home, and I would not give them the name.

Amazing company. Great customer service especially from the secretary. And the manager always hooks you up with the bestdeals for windows and doors. I called a couple places and this was by far the best price and quality for my windows and my doors. They also took a normal door with 2 side windows and made it into a huge patio door which I love!

Absolutely horrible people... be wary as they seem like the nicest people in the world until they get your money. We will be getting real professionals in to fix their work after being promised by them they would come and fix their horrible install many times. I will be getting my lawyers involved if anyone from custom direct actually reads their reviews. I wish you the best of luck as your company does not have a future if you continue to scam people and provide inferior workmanship. The head installer is the owner's brother and should be fired... I wouldn't trust him to put together ikea furniture. I have extensive knowledge in building and renovating... I promise I did not see a level in anybody's hand when they were installing a 23k job on my sister's townhouse. Again we will let the lawyers and the courts figure it out now. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I replaced several doors and windows throughout my house. Bad experience. Sales rep promised 8 week max installation and took over 12. Supposedly installers were going to come on a Friday afternoon and all Saturday but showed up early on Friday and said they were doing everything in one day, for which we weren't ready, so they rushed and left some of the windows and doors installed not to my taste. The main door was supposed to have a special glass shape and came rectangular. Sales rep is not answering my calls or texts anymore. Installers were rude and yelling everywhere up and down, even other contractors I had on site that day were wondering how they can work there.They were in such a rush that they put any piece they found to frame the windows, or didnt even care if existing framing was good enough.Never again to get their services... and I would not recommend them13.Nov. Update from my last commentI started the installation of the drywall and guess what… some windows are not levelled and causing issues with the depth of my drywall… no wonder why the sales rep said they can do framing in no time…see new photos

I got my back door, front door and storm door replaced by custom direct and i love my new doors so much. I got amazing pricing, the installers were so nice and cleaned up after themselves and removed all my old doors and disposed of them. it was such a easy process and everything was done beyond my expectations.thank you to Darylleigh, Mehdi and Mentor!

I recently purchased my first home and the doors and windows were very old and outdated- some of the doors even had slight drafts coming in from underneath. I was referred to Custom Direct by a co worker, and when I called to inquire I got a girl named Darylleigh on the line. Darylleigh was incredibly informative and answered all of my questions and helped me plan and price out a complete re-do that was within my budget. I ordered a custom front door and full window replacements and they look fantastic! The installers were very polite and professional. I could not be happier with my experience with custom direct and the help from Darylleigh. Horrible job and very poor workmanship. I got several windows replaced at my house. First the sales guy got measurements incorrect for 3 out of 5 windows. When the windows with correct measurements were installed,three of them are leaking moisture and the owner refuses to return telephone calls. Sent him pictures taken at different temperatures. Stay away from this company

I highly recommend this company for window or door replacement. Their front line customer service, response rates, pricing, scheduling, work ethic, professionalism and most importantly their product are far superior to any other window or door company. Why would you go anywhere else when you can buy top quality Canadian products at reasonable prices?
