when I first moved to Calgary i wanted a Local place to play MTG, i needed some cards and had a list prepared. I waited 15 minutes after they were chit-chatting on the counter. When i handed him my list he looked very frustrated but started looking up my cards, 2 minutes in he asked the customer behind me what he wanted and started helping him, leaving me stranded and still waiting. this experience was so bad that i didn't want to set another step into the shop. however i went there just recently again and the employees seem just impatient and rude

I came into the store today after nearly a decade of not playing, looking for a new deck. I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Andrew. He was a great help in figuring out exactly the play style I was looking for, and asked a lot of intuitive questions to help me find just the right deck to ruin my friends day with. He genuinely knew the product he was selling, and made the entire experience very enjoyable. Absolutely will be coming back to revamp some old decks.

Great place to start a deck, boost the one you got, search for a specific card for your collection, you can go and play with friends, they offer a excelent service (they are really helpful), go check their website, the deck builder is a really good help for you... This is the way

This is a great place to get your cards for games like Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon and more. A great environment and tables to play at with strangers or your friends!

Sentry Box Cards is an awesome place that always have new cards and just the thing your looking for!All the staff are awesome and I'm so glad to have met and been able to connect with them all. They have great tournaments and its always such a great time getting a chance to catch up and play some games of Pokémon TCG with friends and staff!Thursday night and Sunday afternoon tournaments here are the highlights of the week!! So glad to have this place for our Pokémon community.Keep up the great work guys!

Well, great place to go playing any card game, you may also order cards for MTG online and pick em up later. The people working there are knowledgeable and always ready to help. I just think the price of singles is hyped up, but on the other hand its nice to support your local game store.

Amazing experience!! Have been twice in the last two weeks, first of which being my first-ever visit. I love the setup, the staff are fantastic, and in my opinion the prices are reasonable overall. Have yet to be disappointed by a purchase, either online for pickup or in-store. One of my new favourite places to go in Calgary, for sure!!The staff truly do deserve their own special shoutout though, as their knowledge, helpfulness, friendliness, and professionalism have me at ease when I visit and entice me further to return again and again. Could not recommend enough!!

Such a great group here. Andrew a.k.a A-A-ron and the rest of the staff are incredibly accommodating and willing to answer all my ignorant questions as I gain knowledge in this space. One of my favorite places to go!

Went last week and they were super helpful with what I was looking for! Awesome selection of Pokémon and Magic the gathering products. Great staff and would definitely recommend going here for all your hobby needs!

Orders do not arrive due to insufficient postage. Don't order unless picking up in-storeI made a total of 3 singles orders over from them from July 2022 to March 2023, here is what I experienced.1st order took 2.5 weeks. 2 weeks after ordering I emailed the store inquiring about the order status. Staff told me that bubble mailer was returned to them by Canada Post due to insufficient postage and had to be resent and this caused a delay.They did not update me before I inquired about order but did give a store credit.2nd order took 1.5 weeks...longer than expected but somewhat within reason.3rd order (Last one). Ordered March 1st, I followed up March 9th (email unanswered), I emailed again March 13th - store owner quoted 5-8 business days for shipping to Edmonton...I asked how he arrived at the 5-8 business day time-frame for shipping from Calgary to Edmonton when shipping estimates is 3 business days & if there was a postage issue again. Owner quoted anecdotal experience for winter time shipping" and denied postage issue saying they used $1.94 stamp on bubble mailer...wait up to 30 days before proceeding to resolve issue.3 weeks later still nothing
