I have enjoyed the Japanese culture last weekend here. The people are friendly and the food tastes good. However, the place is too small to be celebrated by mountains of people.

Didn't visit the centre but rather the festival today. Lots of interesting things to do but far too crowded and the food stalls would continuously run out of the items while people had been waiting in line for upwards of an hour. Would be better if they could let people lining up know how much stock was left so so much time was not wasted waiting in the sun for no reason

First time we went here, we had a blast. Had lots of fun and learn a few things. The food was great as well.

Nice matsuri. Although it's getting more and more crowded each year. A change of venue with a more free flowing crowd would be greatly appreciated. The prices for the food are getting rather high as well.

The food was good, and there were a lot of fun events! However, I think they're going to have to find a bigger venue next year as it was very packed this year and thus very hard to move around. What I found particularly unfortunate was that they didn't have any water fountains accessible to the public, which is inhumane on such a hot day, so you're forced to buy water bottles there.

Went for Matsuri Japon at midday, the annual Japanese fest in Montreal.Lots of things going on like traditional Japanese danse, Taiko (drumming), martial arts, food, and other Japnese goods. Lots of activities for children. On the downside the festival area was crowded with barely enough place to move. Stood in line 45 minutes to purchase a matcha flavoured Kakigori with hot sun beating down. I had no patience to wait in any other line for food or drink. It's a very busy festival. I didn't stay too long due to the crowding and long lines and I'd say I didn't enjoy myself as much as I'd hoped.

Visited during the Matsuri festival this year, it was lovely to be able to see and purchase Japanese goods and food and support the Japanese community of Montreal.
