Tony did great on fixing our 18 years old obsolete furnace Skymark that stop heating, he will also help on installing our new smart thermostat. I can tell he is really an expert on fixing furnace as he was able to diagnosed the problem and fixed it fast. Overall, Home Standard's employees are professional and approachable, even accomodated when I kept changing the schedule.

This company is 100% reputable, high quality, efficient, and above all, services with high integrity. Anyone who lives in downtown Toronto knows that servicing heat pumps can be a nightmare. It is so hard to find a company that (a) knows what they're doing, (b) charges a fair price, and (c) focuses on fixing the issue rather than maximizing profit.I had a heat pump replaced by them about a year ago and since then, any follow-up issues were covered by their warranty with no charge. Their customer service is also very reassuring and understanding. Recently they fixed an issue created by another HVAC company that claimed to service my unit but actually sabotaged my heat pump. Someone came in very quickly and fixed that damage. Hats off to them. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Professional, experienced technicians, good value for the service, and great overall experience. I highly recommend these guys if you need to replace your Vertical Fan Coil unit.

Service Manager Kevin and HVAC Tech George are extremely professional and I am very grateful for their speedy response and HVAC condo unit system repair on June 5, 2023. I was stressing out regarding the cost and out of complete happiness due to Georges experience and fair assessment of the actual problem resolved my lack of A/C in 45 mins. . My 10 year old condo heat pump stopped working and I'm so glad I called Home Trade Standards. A lot of technicians refuse to work with condos because of how small heat pumps can be and having to pay for parking. Kevin was able to arrange a visit within two days and George fixed the issue within an hour. He was very patient and took the time to measure the temperature of air flow many times before heading out. He also gave me a new filter. After the visit, Kevin called to make sure things were still working. Everyone was super professional and pricing was reasonable - 10/10, highly recommend!

I would like to call out the technician Igor who was excellent. Him and his crew were on time and did the job right the first time. We decided that we needed to replace our old A/C unit and contacted Home Trade Standards. Kevin walked me through the process and after the new unit arrived an appointment was set up and his crew arrived promptly on time and quickly installed the new unit.Everything was done professionally and courteously. After a minor glitch on a loose wire which was taken care of quickly by Kevin and his crew, the new unit is now working perfectly keeping us cool through the recent heat wave.

I could not be more pleased with the services rendered by Home Trade Standards.At the start of our hot weather, I noticed that my AC was not working. I live in a condo, and have a Skymark HVAC unit that, to my dismay, has been discontinued. I reached out to a few HVAC companies to come inspect and diagnose the problem. I was told that the only solution for me would be to replace the unit completely, at a tremendous cost. I even called the company that originally installed the HVAC unit when they built the condo, and they too, told me that there would be no solution except for a full replacement of the unit.I then reached out to Home Trade Standards. From the start I was met with extreme professionalism, knowledge and experience with my specific unit. Igor was able to accurately diagnose my unit, and come up with a plan that would get my AC running without a full unit replacement.When Igor and Ihab showed up for maintenance on my unit they were able to get the work done, and my AC running, in just a few hours. They walked me through the steps on what they did, how they did it, and how I could keep it running perfectly going forward.I am so happy that I was able to get in contact with Home Trade Standards. I could not recommend them more. What a great experience. We had our condo heat pump replaced and a smart thermostat installed. Kevin and his team were responsive and professional. As well as working with our limited timeline. On top of being on time during a snowstorm just before Christmas! Highly recommended!!
