Good deals to be had and some real treasures if you look really well. Picked up a pair of men's lined dress gloves. Appeared to be new old stock. Also saw a vintage morning coat and some vintage cashmere stripe morning trousers. Never thought I'd ever see that for sale in Canada. Shirts from respectable makers, suits, blazers, sport jackets, ties, etc. If you're into classic men's style, you should totally make Statement House one of your go to places in Peterborough. I know I have.

Definitely one of the best second-hand stores I’ve ever visited. The value and uniqueness of the clothing combined with the shockingly reasonable prices is unmatched. The staff are attentive, easygoing, and very patient (we brought a baby and spent hours in the store.) Worth the trip to Peterborough if you don’t live there and you’re looking for a thoughtfully curated vintage store!

I came across this place while out with a friend and it was lovely! The owner was very nice to us and there were lots of interesting little items around the store. I didn't end up getting anything on that first trip but I absolutely plan to come back and check for new things every once in a while.

I shop a lot of vintage outside of Peterborough, but was amazed by the selection and service at Statement House. Organized, colorful and fun. Although I wasn't intending to purchase anything the day I went in, I was compelled by the great selection of fun small pieces too (like earrings, scarves and buttons). I couldn't resist picking something up! Jules is patient, knows her way around the shop and has an eye for picking out pieces that suit you, the customer. Owner Sandra has a great selection too. Be sure to check out the basement for other fun finds. I will be back soon to check out more clothing!

I bought a amazing Danier men's leather jacket. looks very cool the staff definitely knows clothing. The owner is awesome person who is happy to enjoy a good conversation about clothes and make sure you are happy with your purchase. The staff is the same way kind hearted and friendly. Making a purchase at Statement House so much fun. For the customers.
