We had a wonderful time time at BBQ chicken, the atmosphere is well set and the staff is very friendly. Our waiter Hailey was very keen and very thorough in helping us enjoy a wonderful time. And the new crispy shrimp Menbosha was delicious, the chicken was not behind either. 10/10

Came here on a weekend. Service was prompt and attentive. Although they didn’t have the flavour we initially ordered, they quickly reached out and gave us alternative options. They even offered a small complimentary item because of this without us asking. Location is convenient. Parking would be difficult to find, as expected from a downtown location. Lots of seating available.Generous portions. Wait time very reasonable. Packaging was clean and neat. The only thing we would’ve appreciated was napkins and maybe cutlery in the takeout bag. Would love to return and try more items on their menu.

Tasty chicken based dishes, with Korean spicy sauces. The rice pasta tteokbokki is really good, as are the fried chicken dishes with tasty spicy sauces. Big portions of the fried chicken too - there was plenty of food to go around. Service was friendly and attentive. Street was quiet too, so sitting outside is pleasant. Recommended - my Japanese friend keeps coming back here (4th time tonight), as a sign of the restaurant’s good quality and value.

Came here during their soft-opening and this is officially my favourite Korean Fried Chicken spot in downtown Toronto.The decor is clean and aesthetic, the service was attentive and friendly, and the FOOD was fantastic.We ordered the Rosé Ddeokbokki and the Secret Sauced Chicken, and as a soft opening special we got the Gambas on the house.I have to say - the chicken brought back memories from Korea - this is as real as it gets to the 양념치킨 I used to eat growing up. The sauce was perfect - not too sweet (not spicy), and the chicken was SO crispy and juicy (even the white meat). I wish it was a little more spicy but they do have a lot of other flavours to choose from and I am looking forward to making my way through the menu!

This was my second time delivering from BBQ chicken. My first experience wasn’t that great so I never got back to them but I saw the cheese ball(they are so good!) promotion and I decided to give it another try. I didn’t expect the perfect quality because I ordered a delivery but I was still really disappointed again.First of all, the size in general is very small. I ordered bone-in option and some pieces were like jokes, that small.Second, it was super dry that it took me time to cut it with my teeth. You can see meat is hard and it’s separating. And the piece behind didn’t even have batter, I guess it fell when packing.Third, same as the first time I ordered, I chose the option to receive pickled radish and they forgot it again. Two times in a row.. hmm…Fourth, I still gave two stars because the sauce was tasty but they do not put enough. I literally scraped the bottom of the box to have more flavour.Lastly, this doesn’t bother me too much but I will mention it because my experience was very disappointing and it was added on. I can’t eat chocolate so I asked them to not put chocolate flavour in assorted cheese balls if possible but they ignored it and I couldn’t eat 4 cheese balls and threw them away. But again, I understand if this request couldn’t be accepted because it’s “assorted”.I never write this long review, maybe I should dine in one day for a better experience but not sure I will ever go back.

Awesome go-to restaurant in downtown for Korean fried chicken! Staffs were so nice and friendly and of course food was amazing! Highly recommend honey/soy garlic chicken. They also have great pulled chicken chips which you can pair with beer perfectly!

bbq chicken was a great dining experience. I got the gangjeong boneless chicken and it was the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. The servers were very nice and professional. I will definitely come back in the future.

Conveniently located in the heart of Toronto downtown on Elm street. The dining area is nicely done and spacious. The serving staff are very attentive and friendly :)
