Splendid job

Works out of his house and is more of a hobbyist than a professional clock repair shop.I have had this gentleman work on more than one project over this past year and overall I was not impressed with his handywork and even less impressed with his professionalism.On the last project I had done the price changed several times, going up each time, and finally ending at a price that was ridiculous for the amount of work done. I took it with a grain of salt and paid the bloated price vowing it would be the last time.I should have gone with my initial instinct on this guy and shopped around for other businesses in the area that didn't have the Batess Motel feel.But don't take my word for it, go by the house and get your own impression.I would also press you to not trust some of these other high ratings as my experience at this business was much less than a quality one. I can only imagine they were either made by himself or some bogus people to cancel out that original bad rating. Rule of thumb for online ratings is first business rating is usually the most honest. I would have to agree with Frank that you should definitely shop around for more qualified people in the area if you care about quality and integrity.I will not return to this business.

Pretty sure only around excellent quality service

Adirondack clock did an awesome job on restoration of my great great grandmother's 1880s mantle clock that hadn't worked for years and my great grandfather's late 1800s pocket watches both look like new , highly recommended.
