HUNTER'S DAWG HOUSE
Finally, gourmet hot dogs availible in the Kawartha Lakes.Got Hailey's Comet and the kids poutine for $15 and it was an excellent. Hot dog is hilariously big and they are generous with the toppings. I was stuffed by the end of the Comet and still had the poutine to tackle!The seasoning on these fries is silly, it's Cajun seasoning but way better. Buns are fresh, staff are friendly. Picnics tables availible.I asked them to move the food truck to my street but didn't have any luck. Which means I'll definitely be making a return trip!

We stopped in at Hunter’s Dawg House last weekend with our kids and let me just say, the service was over the top and the owners are very friendly. Our food was absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to come back to try everything else on your menu!Make sure to try the funnel cake fries - mmmmmm!!!

Wow. This place is great. The poutine was prepared perfectly. Portions were excellent too. Plenty of spots to sit out back and the staff were great. I can't wait to go back!

Ordered a smash burger from here. I would expect a smash burger but what I got was not a smash burger. It was clearly just a standard burger patty formed with low quality meat, dry and lacked seasoning. If I am ordering smash burger I expect the patty to be smashed and their to be a maillard reaction on the outside to create that rich browned crust.

The food was so good!! Huge portions and the quality was amazing. Staff were friendly and so quick considering it was a bit busy. Really enjoyed my food and service, will definitely return again :)

Delicious food at Hunter's Dawg House. We have been for 2 meals under the new ownership & enjoyed both times. Our kids love the grassy eat-in area out back & the atmosphere is very welcoming for families.

Fantastic food truck!!!Just tried Hunter's Dawg House, one of the best food trucks I've been to in years. It starts with friendly service, plenty of parking and a fun menu. Their main item is a variety of (Nathan's) footlong hot dogs to choose from, but they also have smash burgers, various poutine options and great fresh cut fries.We tried a regular footlong, along with another footlong called the 'Elvis'. The Elvis is a creative hot dog that includes peanut butter, jam, Fruity Pebbles and bacon. All the items we ordered looked amazing in terms of presentation, carefully placed in a cardboard tray for easy takeaway.Definitely going back to try their smash burgers and butter chicken poutine!Highly recommended!

Got the Dilly Dawg and some sides to go with dinner. Fries are perfect, poutine outstanding and the kids loved the mac n cheese. So glad we stopped in. Will be back again. So Good!

Visited Hunter's on Canada Day, food and service was excellent! And you have to try the funnel cake fries! Amazing!
