Mentor College
I attended Mentor for 6 years and it was an incredible experience. Mentor is an amazing school with great faculty and staff. I had teachers go above and beyond with extra help to ensure that I understood the material being taught. Teachers will put in many additional hours to work with students on concepts they might be struggling with. That commitment alone shows the dedication of the school and the staff.Mentor is an academically challenging school, one that prepared myself and many of my peers extremely well for university. Beyond academics, there are ample opportunities for students to get involved in the community and through sports (culture show, fashion show, musicals, volunteering, etc.) I even had the opportunity to attend a networking event in grade 12 at RBC called Ladies who Lunch which was focused on exposing young women to jobs in capital markets. The opportunities that Mentor provided me truly shaped who I have become today, and I am very grateful for my many teachers, coaches, staff, and peers who made the experience so wonderful.

As a parent of two children who attend Mentor College, I cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful school. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and supported by the staff and teachers. One of the things that really stood out to me about Mentor is their commitment to creating a positive and inclusive school culture. They celebrate diversity and promote kindness and respect among all students.

I had two children attend Mentor College from grade 5 to 12. The teachers were amazing, administration helpful, and the atmosphere supportive. University admissions guidance was detailed and what made it all worth it is seeing my children thrive at Queen’s and U of T. The academic standard pushed my kids and for that I am grateful! Thank you, Mentor!

Mentor College
It is the worst school that I have ever been to. Mentor college, or should I say Mental college, does not care about students well being and only care about the financial gain. The school does not plan the courses out properly so students may have anywhere from 2-8 test within a week of each other. Some of the teachers there are good but most don't care for the student's wellbeing and only do the bare minimum. Because this is a private school, teachers don't necessarily need to get teaching degree and some don't even have college degrees. There are even teachers that are currently in teacher's college. The guidance councilors aren't the best either. Again, because this is a private school, they don't need a license to be a councilor and many parents are worried about this. As everyone knows, guidance counselling can also be therapy" to some people and so if they don't get the right help from the school parents will be worried. And sure

I attended Mentor College from Senior Kindergarten up to Grade 12.Mentor has strong academics all around, and offers a range of AP courses, which help with university applications and push your learning a lot further. In addition, there are several great extracurriculars; over the years I was on the swim team, the track team, and Model UN among others. The vast majority of teachers at Mentor are superb, really passionate and able to spark interest in what they teach. At times strong personalities will clash, but they are really what makes this school so enjoyable.I’m currently studying architecture at the University of Waterloo. As far as it could be, Mentor was excellent preparation for this, in terms of its wide range of specialties, and the importance of self-motivation. I would recommend this school to anyone willing to work hard and eager to learn.

Mr Smith drinks coke and eats instant noodles every day. He needs to have a conversation with Ms Fuhr for health references. Meanwhile, we can only drink diet drinks from the vending machine with the price of $1.25!!! The school threw away the vending machine which once sold ice creams and chips!!!!!!!! THATS MY ONLY WAY TO SURVIVE IN THIS PRISON-LIKE SCHOOL!!The school has to train their teachers which some of them don’t even know how to use edsby!!! Ms Sandhu gave out a lot of assignments and never posted a single result on edsby!!!!!!!Mentor College has a great passion on using the desk connected with a chair which is their special fashion trend—ALL-IN-ONE DESK!!!WTH!! They charge so much tuition and provide the students with such uncomfortable desks!!!!!

Education is swell, teachers are pleasant, and there are so many fun events! The teachers are willing to help students who are struggling. There are so my extracurriculars! The school only provides the best education, but only for those who can afford it.

I attended Mentor College from Grades 3 through 12 and had a great time throughout the years. The Primary and Intermediate Divisions were excellent at fostering an environment where kids love learning. The school has a close-knit community of students and teachers that are always willing to help others.I am currently in my first year of Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Mentor College prepared me very well for the responsibilities I would gain during my first year. The high standards kept at the school ensure their graduates are prepared for the demands of university. It is not only the material that is taught but rather the work ethic that students are encouraged to develop that help graduates succeed in demanding post-secondary programs. Furthermore, soft skills such as public speaking through Speech Night or problem-solving through DECA ensure students leave well rounded. Finally, the numerous extracurriculars that are available make high school a very memorable experience. It was a pleasure to have attended Mentor College!

Mentor College
I am indebted to Mentor for providing me with lifelong experiences, friends, academic and personal growth, and a successful route to my first choice of university. When I first came to this school in grade 7, I didn’t quite have the greatest passion for learning. However, it did not take long to change that attitude after arriving here. The small class sizes, directed learning, extra help, and supportive teachers truly made a difference. Their enlightenment grew my passion for science and explains why I am currently pursuing Life Science at McMaster University. Aside from my academic growth at this school, the extracurriculars also made a difference in my life. From being a shy 7th grader during my first year at Mentor to eventually being a student council president during my last, these accomplishments aren’t enough to embody the interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills I developed. Even though I am in my first year of university, I am not struggling with the increased workload because Mentor equipped me with all the right tools for the job. Would I still be the person I am if I didn't attend this school? I can never tell. But, I am pretty sure that no other school would help me as much as Mentor did.

Mentor College
Mentor College at face value seems to be a great school, but after attending for 9 years, I realized that Mentor College has many flaws. From horrible teachers/administration to obvious favoritism to girls, white boys, and whoever's parents give Mentor the most money. Mentor is frankly a depressing school with there old prison like architecture and harsh teaching/discipline system. They takes millions of tuition dollars each year yet does not seem to care about getting new resources and facilities for there overcrowded school, but instead of making something useful like a cafeteria, they spent their budget on building a bubble dome which provides minimal use during the school year, and is instead a way to make MORE money renting it to third party groups. Mentor puts money before the mental wellbeing of students and facilities for the school turning it into much more of a business than a proper learning environment
