Eastern Market

I absolutely loved this place. From the flowers, the produce, gourmet turkey burgers. I can't wait to go back.

I love this place, always something new and fun and creative to do, great food my mother and law and father in law have a tent here and sell produce and flowers and cactus it's fun to come visit them while they work.

This place is an absolute jem. I wish I lived in Detroit because it has almost everything you need, places to eat, flower show, book sales, murals in the market (no more sadly) and now matter how busy it is you can always find a place to park stress free. Can't wait for when I'm in town again!

My husband and our friends visited the Eastern Market while visiting Detroit.We had an absolutely wonderful experience. This is an incredible place to visit for an immersive Detroit experience. We really enjoyed seeing all the locally produced goods and speaking with the vendors. There were so many treasures all around, and I had no trouble finding gifts for friends, family and myself!The quality and abundance of the produce and live plants was incredible. There were also a variety of hot food options to sample for a quick lunch.We walked from our hotel, the Renaissance Centre, which was a nice, 30-minute trip with lots of sights along the way. We also explored the area around Eastern Market and found antique & vintage stores, butchers, seafood merchants and many incredible local shops, cafes and restaurants.This was absolutely a main highlight of the trip for me and I would return in a heartbeat!

Went for my first Saturday afternoon at Eastern Market in Detroit! First, I parked.. Then walked into one of the sheds and to my surprise there were so many different vendors inside! Multiple rows, a wide variety of goods, crowed but room to move around (noon) I saw lots of beautiful plants and flowers, got a fudge brownie from a lady selling baked goods, saw lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, some plant based options, some organic grains, jewelry, handmade items etc. Took about an hour and a half to see everything in two sheds. You have to keep your eyes peeled for good deals, and they do accept bridge card tokens at some vendor booths. Was a nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon. I will be back with more money next time as some things are a bit pricey!

Such a lively market to visit on a Saturday morning. Fresh produce, artisan crafts, food trucks and all things local to check out in various sheds. The flower market is simply amazing. Don't miss the French Cow crepe shop!

We visited on the Flower Day. Was very busy but I loved visiting this jam! Make sure to bring cash and a wagon cart!

I had a great experience st the Eastern Market. It is lively and has lots of vendors. There were beautiful flowers and a good variety of food vendors. I would definitely buy flowers and plants for my garden from here, if i lived in the area. There a variety of clothing stores. I had excellent pastry and purchased loose tea from a wonderful vendor. I see why the tea vendor was so popular. The tea I purchased is great.

Almost five years since I’ve been here and it just gets better and better. My favorite beef sticks were $1/stick. The flowers were mind blowing-ly beautiful (if that’s even a word). It was packed with people by 2PM and I understand why. Mystic Kettle was PHENOMENAL. Prices were so reasonable for what you’re getting. I can’t wait to come back. There aren’t many places like this in the entire country.
