Gardel is extremely good at what they do. This is the second time we have gotten some sharpening done and this time I brought them some more obscure items. Large Garden shears, a pizza cutter, and a circular bread slicer in addition to several knives all cost us less than $50 to sharpen. They did an amazing job, better than any of the at home sharpeners could ever do.They recently moved to Wakefield and the address on their website is accurate. The location is tucked away, but I still found it easy enough and everyone was friendly and kept me informed throughout the process. Stop using dull knives and check them out!

Went for walk-in knife sharpening of a couple knives from home. Very friendly staff, fast service, excellent value. Used both the knives when I got home and the difference was incredible. Very happy I went to Gardel.

Quick response to email inquiry on residential knife sharpening. After prompt service inquiry I dropped off four knives (chef (2), utility, and santoku). I thought two of them lost their edge and could not be sharpened. That was not the case, all four knives were sharp and ready for use (able to shave finger nail test). Cost was very reasonable and only took about 10 - 15 minutes to sharpen. Will go back again for sure.

I entrusted these folks with my Father's Chicago Cutlery Knives which I inherited upon his passing in 2001. Gardel Cutlery did an outstanding, prompt and efficient job of sharpening this family treasure. I definitely recommend their services.
