Maybe this place has good packaged food, but the ready made food section is horrible to say the least. I have to say that I had the sorriest and saddest sandwich I saw in my life, including the days in which I was a poor student. I will never forget this sad looking lousy tasting Schnitzel sandwich or the lady making it. Since mustard is the only topping, at least put enough for me to see it if not taste it.

The woman at the deli scratched her neck with her gloves on when she was helping me and got offended when I asked her to change her gloves! Seriously??? The women over at the hot table serving customers were touching ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING WITH THEIR BARE HANDS (money, brooms, their arms, etc) and then making sandwiches/hot dogs without washing their hands. That is beyond disgusting! Oh and I can’t forget about their brown meat, totally not fresh! I’ll never return to this place - these people are DIRTY!!!!

Kassler meal, with potatoes and coleslaw. You can't find this kind of food, with this level of quality for only $7.99. An average burger, fries and drink combo is $12. 00 nowadays.

Incredible store with delicious meats, lots of imported European products, German specialities and so much more! You can even find mettwurst there. Plus they have a small delicious buffet with German/European meals. So happy we discovered this place.

Great place to find European foods not available in the local grocery store. Friendly staff and great prices on the meat and cheese.

Great prices. No longer buying from wal-mart. Better meat, better quality. The strip lion steak is my favorite. Also, there are east coasters in the deli. Happy with this location and will be a returning customer :)

I went to get some take out today for lunch….bought 1 schnitzel meal and 1 chicken stir fry….both were very dry and not very good….sides were good though

I've been shopping at Brandt since the mid-1990s. It has always been worth the drive out to their factory outlet. First of all, there's the scent of the food at the deli counter that hits you when you just walk in. Then, there's the large product selection—everything from high-quality European jams, to canned goods, to coffees, to cheeses, and some great pretzel buns. And of course, there are Brandt's own regular products: excellent corned beef, Montreal smoked meat, and a lot of other deli meats.Generally, the available product selection has been reliable over the long term, which is great when you have favourites and keep going back for more. There's just one exception: the store used to be one of the rare places you could buy pheasant legs. Apparently, the supplier went out of business a few years ago. It'd be good if store management would look for another supplier.The store manager is fantastic: he's efficient, polite, and friendly to speak with should you need assistance. You can often find him right there behind the meat counter, taking customers' orders—always in a friendly manner. He's a gentleman and an asset to the store. There was also a kind and talkative older blond German lady working at the fresh meat counter for many years, but she may have retired already.Some reviewers here have written that the cashiers are rude—but I think they're just impersonal, as I've never had a nasty experience with anyone. They just seem seriously focused on getting the job done and don't care to chat with customers. Over the years, I've noted that this store has a very stable workforce: the same people have worked there for years—something unusual in today's economy, and so it's nice to see.I seldom buy hot food at the deli counter, but I'm happy that it's there as it's nice to have as a lunch option.

Since Otto passed and his sister retired, definitely NOT the same !Purchased ham /meat salad a few weeks ago, there was more mayo than meat !!Not impressedI have since taken my business to Denningers

I got what I wanted. Nice shop with variety of many things from European countries.
