Great place to go and has great service. The staff are always friendly and ready to help. They even will answer questions relating to food preparation for you or give grilling advice for different types of meat. Not a great place for vegans.

First time going here today. Bought 2 Ribeyes. Beef is excellent quality and tender. Very impressed and will be back.

Absolutely a good shopping experience. Used to go to his dad's store in Rossmore. My son convinced me to shop here and very happy when I left. Meat was awesome (yes I've cooked up some of what I bought) big comparison to what you get in big stores. Huge selection on fresh and frozen produce. Was a huge savings as well. I'LL BE BACK lots more to try.

This is my local butcher. They offer an excellent selection of meats, vegetables and fresh ready to eat hot meals. Co-owner Jack and his crew deliver high quality products and services. They have saved my bacon more than once with quick fulfillment of rotisserie chicken, vegetable sides and salads to serve last minute guests. Perhaps the highest compliment comes from my mother-in-law who was very impressed with the seasoning on the BBQ chicken quarters and corn. Their pricing is amazing. Check their refrigeraters and freezers for discounted and bundle-priced meals.

The meat is fantastic quality and affordable. I live in Downtown Toronto and delivery was quick and everything arrived cold packaged. I will definitely be ordering again! Everything we ordered was eaten up quickly to rave reviews.

Lovely staff and great meats for any meat lover

A random Tuesday my wife had plans and it was boys night for me and my young son. After looking around the house for dinner ideas, I realized everything was frozen or didn't seem appealing. I decided we should use the gift card we received to this local butcher. After getting my little guy out of the car seat we proceeded to enter Gilmores. We were greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. We started to browse the large selection fresh and frozen meat as the owner made suggestions of his favorite meats. We ended up selecting two tender and tasty ribeye steaks. After a short and interesting chat we were on our way. This place has a great selection or fresh or frozen meat and excellent customer service. The building its self requires alittle tlc mind you some of the best places I have eaten were in rough buildings. Don't judge a book by its cover. If your in the area stop here and get tonight's dinner. You won't regret it and thank me later. Don't forget to like and follow me for more hidden gems around the city.
