We probably eat here at least twice a month. The food is always good and they are very accomodating- subbing udon noodles for my son and always remembering to bring fish sauce for my daughter as she prefers it for her salad rolls. The service is top notch - they even found my son's fidget spinner and gave it to us the next time we came in. We didn't even bother letting them know he had left it our last time there but when we came back they brought it right over. Top notch!

WHY have I not found this place sooner?! The food here is so fresh! Wow. And they put such care into each dish. What a treat to have a business go out of their way like this. They also had a lot of options on their menu and I LOVED all the add on options. I asked for extra basil - And I got it! Awesome spot!

My wife and I decided to try Van Son after receiving their menu in the mail. We chose to dine in. The service is excellent here with friendly staff. The portion sizes are quite big which is nice. There is quite a few vegetarian options and vegan options as well. I was able to find several items that suited my vegan diet and the restaurant was very accommodating in that regard as well. I recommend the tofu rolls for sure. Price is more than fair as well. We will definitely be back to try more things.

Growing up in the Vietnamese kitchens of my childhood friends has left me with a very discriminating palate for Vietnamese food. I’ve tried many of the Calgary Vietnamese restaurants and I always end up coming back to Chestermere for my satisfying fill. And yes. Even when I’m driving on International Avenue. I can trust Van Son to be CLEAN and hygienic, and I always know that the flavours will be consistently authentic and the portions to be extremely generous. Service is always friendly with a smile and they actually refill your water here unlike the many other Vietnamese restaurants that require you to do cartwheels to get refills and/or extra help.

Delicious as always! Fast, friendly service. My meal was wonderful and they switched out the vermicelli noodles for coconut rice at my request. (Their coconut rice is to die for, so I get it whenever I get the chance.)Fully wheelchair accessible and a spacious, clean bathroom.

I have celiac disease and I've never gotten sick here. (It's more expensive though but that's our life.) They make so much amazing food and I can have most of it. I feel so lucky that I can eat here. The spring rolls are amazing.
