Yesterday my girlfriend and I had had an amazing experience at Cafe Italiano …The food was delicious and the service outstanding… we met the floor manager who introduced himself as PK…PK was amazing and a perfect example of what a true manager should be: a true gentleman… caring and attentive … thank you PK! We will be back and recommend your restaurant to all our friends!

We brought my mother-in-law, my father-in-law, myself and my husband along with two other people for Mother’s Day. The waitress was wonderful (I can’t recall her name) and we were all fully satisfied. The food, from steaks to osso bucco to chicken Marsala was delicious. My only bug was how noisy the restaurant is but being as how it is a large venue overlooking the racetrack I really can’t complain.

I ordered the wild boar with parpadelle pasta. It was tasty enough but I only got 3 small cubes of meat in the dish for $38? Not impressed.

Came with a group of friends. We were seated in the far corner apart from the group. The waitress forgot our appetizers did not come to check on us once in a 2 hour period. We had to go find her 3 times to get service.Then when handing us the bill she proceeded to inform that she was including an 18% mandatory tip .Nothing against tipping for good service, however being forced to tip 18% for virtually no service is atrocious

Went on Sunday, had sea bass special, calamari and salad. They were all delicious. The view is great to watch the race , service is excellent. The ambience and seats are not very comfortable but aside from that everyone was nice and accomodating with great food, entertainment. I highly recommend a reservation. Not sure if other days differ in quality but Sundays are popular.

The atmosphere is very nice, we were seated racetrack side. But, it was freezing in there. Not only us, but everyone around us were freezing. Turn down the A/C!!!!!The food was ok but not great. They really go heavy on the salt in the bread and the coating on the chicken masala. Our server basically disappeared for our entire meal. We wanted refills on our drinks and coffee and dessert (for a birthday) party. We waited for 45 minutes after our dishes had been removed for our server to show up again. Unacceptable! What a disappointment on my Sister's birthday.

The food is okay but overpriced. The ambiance is lacking, it has much more of a sports bar vibe (with noise to match).
