Great location to buy fresh seafood, especially the spot prawns in May & June!They are not cheaper compared to the ones at the supermarkets, but you definitely get the freshest seafood of all!If you live in Vancouver, I recommend this place, why bother go all the way down to Steveston?

I've been a Skipper Otto's member for over 5 years. Love the ease of ordering online, and so many pickup locations for frozen items. Great selection of seafood too- scallops in the shell, albacore tuna, sablefish, lingcod cheeks, smoked salmon... A picture of the Fisherman who caught your seafood is on the package so you know exactly where it came from and can say a little thanks before eating. Fresh items is a Thursday evening pickup at Fishermans wharf- think spot prawns, mussels or live crab. Great business that I will continue to support.

Skipper Otto at Fishermen's Wharf
I've been a member since their second year as a Community Supported Fishery. They have made many changes over the years to add more selection and make it easier to order/pick up. Every thing is delicious! But the best part is all the effort they put into educating their members about the fishing industry and the lives of the fishing families. I love the videos from the boats, the emails telling what to expect from the season, and updates when a salmon run doesn't open as expected.

Discovered this wonderful initiative recently.Have been happy with my membership.Support local fishermen who try to use sustainable methods.Get to know who is catching your seafood and how they catch it.Receive fresh, quality, in season seafoodGet email reminders and notices on what is being caught and when they'll be out fishing.Get information on storing, handling and prepping the seafood.
