Kerry's Book Store

Lots of books here but the person working was not helpful in finding what I was looking for, when I mentioned the 2 types of books I was interested in finding, instead of telling me where to look said I dont see what those have to do with one another" and gave me 3 cryptic answers and finally I just left."

A wide variety of genres and really great prices, but it was hard to find things within the genre sections as a result of idiosyncratic organization. The stock was also in great condition. Customer service could use some work.

Kerry's is wonderful. His prices are reasonable, and the selection is vast. Kerry knows his stock really well, and can find you just about anything. There's a reason the store has lasted so long within the ever-changing storefronts of downtown Barrie. The proprietor is soft spoken, and mild mannered. The feeling I get when perousing the shelves for buried treasure" is very special to me."

This place is practically a downtown heritage spot. Been around for decades and it's a gem in the heart of Barrie.

I went here back in 2015 of January and the person said I really wish the other store revindell books didn't send you here I'm not looking for any books you have when I asked where else I could go to sell them he didn't say anything just told me to leave and go he was really rude and mean to me

Tons and tons of books excellent prices

Very poorly organized. Little to no signage, and hardly anything was in alphabetical order. Stephenie Meyer books would be next to Lawrence Hill and Silvya Day with no regard for genre or alphabetical order. One shelf did have books alphabetically arranged, but it would go from A to Z followed by A to Z again on the same shelf with no change in genre at all to make it necessary. Their selection was large, but it was impossible to actually find anything specific amongst the chaos. Also smelled terrible inside. I'm used to used book stores smelling like used books, and it doesn't usually bother me, but the inside of Kerry's reaked strongly of cigarettes which is unacceptable if you want to actually sell your goods to the general public.

The store is VERY CLEAN Staff are Friendly and Very Helpful.The store is really organized, clean and has a great variety and majority of the books are almost new looking.Great prices too!!! One of the Best Used Boom stores I have ever been in!!

My favourite place in Barrie to shop for books (floor to ceiling books!). The owner is very kind and helpful if you are looking for something specific (he usually has it)!
