Shoppers Drug Mart

*SECURITY HARRASMENT* I am a Shoppers employee at another location and I understand the issue with theft and how the security could be, but at this location, the security guard was harrasing me. When I was accompanying my friend who was selecting ice cream, the security decided to walk up half a meter close in front of me staring with his hands in his pockets. I was standing there awkwardly waiting for my friend while the security guard was there dormant. I was confused and uncomfortable and thought it was a joke. But I soon realized that the security guard was harrasing me and decided not to go through my purchases.I left the store and realized how unprofessional and abusive the security guard was and decided to return to the store to speak with a manager. I ended up talking to the assistant manager who seemed to be very understanding of the situation and said that she will have a talk with the guard. As I left the store, the security guard gave me a smirk of embarrassment in which I believe that he may have acknowledged his wrongdoings. I will return and reassess.For Management: Please observe the cameras around 11pm (April 15, 2023). Thank you!

Today I purchased multivitamins from Shoppers drug mart located at Shephard & Kennedy. I gave one tablet to my 3 year old child. Guess what this multivitamins is already expired in Dec2022. I want to complain about this to senior department . It is a serious problem.

Very very bad experience at pharmacy on Tuesday night.I got Covid on Monday. On Tuesday I called my doctor for medicine, he fax the prescription to the pharmacy, but when I want to store to pick up, The pharmacist refuse to give me due to she got mad with my doctor who not answer her questions and just give her a happy face.I am on this store for a long long time, the owner MS Ma is very nice and patience, had help me a lot in the past, but now I decide to go. I cannot endure the service like this, especially when urgent need medicine to reduce the symptoms.

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever encountered! I came here to ask one of them to take the medicine. Originally, they were very free at this time, but they didn't want to listen to me and just asked me to wait. There were three women chatting there, laughing loudly and not caring that the guests were waiting for her to take the medicine. I suggest they should learn how to treat guests correctly!

Avoid this place.There is a shoppers 5 stops away on both side.I would suggest going there.Even if you call them, you get put on hold for 15 minutes and then disconnected automatically.It was very good before, unfortunately lately it is not.Good luck.

Sheer incompetence! Not only did it take hours to fill a very simple prescription, but they got the prescription WRONG (so dangerous)! Thank goodness I noticed this mistake before leaving. Then they said that the prescription didn't qualify for the Senior's Drug Coverage, so I had to pay $56. They charged me this full price on 2 further refills, each time having to wait hours for them to refill. The people behind the counter were careless, rude and sloppy and clearly resented doing their jobs. Finally, I was fed up with their service and decided to get my next refill at a different pharmacy. At the other pharmacy, the exact same prescription was filled within minutes and they confirmed that I did, in fact, qualify for Senior's drug coverage, and only charged me $6 for the exact same prescription! Save yourself time, money and aggravation and just don't use this pharmacy. Management really needs to improve customer service and training for these employees, before their incompetence seriously hurts someone.

I had very bad experience in this store. I went there to take a Passport pic for my daughter in the store. Store associate Bruntha told that I can pay and get the digital copy in USB Flash drive and come back with the USB Flash drive and get a physical photo copy by paying additional cost whenever required.I visited the store after 4 days to get physical copy. I met same associate and asked for the physical copy. Now she said manager has told not print it anymore. I requested her to help with print as I didn’t took my daughter this time. She spoke to the manager and came back and she said they refused.I asked if I can speak with the manager. Then came person with no uniform and ID on him. I explained him that Bruntha told that I can come to get the physical copy. But he was very rude and he said he cannot help.Walmart charges only $13.99 for the passport pic. At shoppers they charge 23.99 still I went there expecting a better service. But this is horrible experience.

I have visited this Shoppers Drug Mart location over the past several months to have myself and my family members vaccinated. Each time I went, they key pharmacists and staff have always been kind, patient, and efficient.When completing the intake process, all pharmacists and staff were informative, and communicated well. They were consistent and clear on what to expect, and maintaining safety protocols for anyone waiting for their appointment.The pharmacists that attended to the vaccination appointments for myself and my family members were gentle, and thorough in their preparation process. I have a young child who was receiving their vaccination and the pharmacist was great at keeping my child calm and generally happy which I really appreciated.Overall, the team at the pharmacy have been fantastic!

Each prescription takes time! Not only grab the medication from the shelf. Provide the right medication on right dose without any interaction is important for pharmacy work. Stop complaining I givee longer waiting time, coz people waiting ahead you are actually there. Not my mistake to say waiting time for 1 hour or 2 hours, I can promise whatever I can. If there is a problem on the script, I will inform the patient right away after pharmacist talks to me. Also, backorder of a medication like children's tylenol or advil, OTC and prescribed cough syrups are not available are out of pharmacy staff control. Stop yelling to me how come there is no ... I don't know either, I want to help you but there is no alternative at this moment.Also, OTC questions are not prior or the prescription items. If you have a question about certain OTC meds, can you wait patiently or let technician triage you first. Do not be mad, we have only one pharmacist on duty per shift. Can we wait for him/her nicely?I- Ingrid tried my best to help every single patient I have to see during my shift. I am only a pharmacy assistant. I don't have huge capability to ask government produce certain meds. Also, I'm a human. I can cry from people rude or yell to me. But if you are nice to me, I may help you in other way. I love my job, but I don't like rude and ignorant patients. Please respect to us. Thanks.

Customer service is nice usually, though once they provided me wrong info on phone. They said they would take photo of my baby for her passport application and I should visit them. When I went there, the photographer said they do not provide passport photos of babies.
