I had Rob do two different taxidermy jobs for me, a deer hide and a bird mount. The first was well done and the second was a hack job. I know he was transitioning his work to his son around the time so maybe he just got sick of the work and gave up. Either way he was unpleasant to deal with, downright rude at times, and the work was nowhere near what I'd come to expect (and to be honest saw in his shop). I've since found another taxidermist who does great work, same price, and is a professional. Time to retire Rob.

I met Rob through a friend who recommended woods and water. I’ve stayed at his accommodations on two separate occasions now and took part in a two day turkey hunt. The accommodations are clean, well kept and remote. Just what every hunter wants! Rob is friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife in the area. You can tell he takes great pride in his work and is passionate about conservation and habitat, which to a new hunter trying to dip his toes in the world of hunting is important. I alsoput a deposit of $300 for a deer hunt in November. Due to unforeseen circumstances I couldn’t go. Rob refunded my entire deposit without hesitation. I’d recommend woods and water to any of my friends or family. Anyone looking to get off the beaten path and partake in a guided hunt needs to check these guys out. Great job guys!

I've had the pleasure of hunting with Brandon twice now - for a spring Turkey hunt and a fall duck hunt. Both times, I've been thoroughly impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and his ability to make the hours stuck in a blind tolerable through good cheer and hunt tales.As a first time hunter, I knew I needed a guide who had the patience to show me the ropes and the skill to help make my first hunts a success. I'm happy to confirm that Brandon was able to greatly exceed expectations on both accounts. I look forward to more hunts with Brandon and the Woods and Water team, come future hunting seasons.

Last fall was my first hunting season. I went hunting two times with Robert and three times with his son Brandon.Both Robert and Brandon made my experience unforgettable. Not only they are very well organized and you can say they really know what they do but what was very important to me they pay special attention to new hunters. Professional!professional!professional!I have been going hunting with Brandon several times. The more I go, the more I want to go again. Brandon is a very nice and knowledgable guide. He's always very concerned with safety, and a very smart guy as well. He knows different spots for different animals, such as ducks, geese and deer ! We never went back home with empty hands. We are always treated like VIP, and he takes care of everything else except shotting. Highly recommend!!!

Amasing performance!I have been hunting with Rob and his son Brendon for over 15 years now with extremely high success rate. You name it: deer, moose, bear, turkey, geese, and ducks. These guys are very professional, well equipped and always in time. They will not hesitate to go an extra mile to get you comfortable, but yet challenging hunt. They will take care of your trophy all the way from the field to your refrigerator. Robert’s taxidermy is outstanding too. Never seen a better job at reasonable price. In two words: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! YOU WILL NOT REGRET A MOMENT IF YOU WILL GIVE THEM A CHANCE!

As a complete newbie to duck hunting these guys took the time to explain the gear I needed and what to do during the hunt. Our guide Brandon set up the decoys, blinds, made the calls, explained the birds' behaviour and how to hunt them- we pretty much hit our limit within the first 2 hours! These guys are top notch and I can't wait to go again.

I went to Woods and Water Taxidermy to inquire about tanning a bear hide and the costs involved.I checked out some of the work that they do and loved the workmanship involved.I met Brandon who walked me through the whole process and answered all my questions.Wow what a knowledgeable young man..I was totally impressed with Brandon and the company.Definitely a 5 star operation.I would give them 6 stars if I was able to.
