Stand UP for Student Well-Being
Our son took 4 weeks of camps this past summer: two stand-up sessions and two improv sessions. Aside from genuinely honing his comedic chops, he came out of the funk he found himself in due to the isolation from the pandemic. The value of laughing for an hour each day is the best medicine around! Additionally, the comedians who work with the kids really connect with them and make them feel ok to be themselves. Best thing we could have done for our son during this crazy year, and he continues to be eager to take more workshops! Last, the people who run the organization are special people who clearly love children and understand how the power of laughter can shape their lives for the better.

My son participated in 2 camps this summer and loved both of them. The instructors were funny, kind and very supportive. They helped him understand how to be funny in an appropriate way as not to be disruptive or hurt anyone's feelings. Overall these camps were very beneficial to my son's confidence, and I would definitely recommend to others.
