Tried to get a reservation over the phone and person at campground when called would simply say and then" over and over. Very odd. I just hung up."

Great for a day trip or camping! Very nice spot. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5, is because I think this place could be better by adding a playground for the kids, showers and washrooms. It's still an amazing spot but there's so much potential for this campground.

We have been to this father and daughter run beauty of a site for ten mins @ 7pm and on a whim got set up with a riverside spot, firewood and and an extra picnic bench brought over. Such hospitality and kindness! Looking forward to a dip in the river then dinner and drinks! Thanks guys!!!

Rock Creek Riverside Campground
We really enjoyed our time here. It’s really nice to be right on the River. Some spots have lots a trees and others don’t have any so it can be hit or miss if you just show up. There’s lots of outhouses and garbage bins around which is great for tenting. Also, all sites have a picnic table and a fire pit. My only real complaint is you get some road noise from the hwy but other than that, a great location for $30 per night.

Telephone number on the FaceBook page is incorrect. The guy that answers and says “wrong number” must be incredibly frustrated. Nevertheless contacted Rock Creek via FaceBook and made a booking. Arrived at site - no entrance signage as reflected in the photos, no reception and nobody about - obviously couldn’t try phoning again! Decided to move on.

Stayed here a couple years ago and it was amazing beautiful and peaceful. I think this spot may have been burnt down in a forest fire though so double check before heading out.

We stayed here about a month ago. Its a nice spot, but not taken care of very well. While we were there, we had a huge branch break off of a tree and narrowly missed one of us. Bloody scary. It did destroy a pop up tent, which is all the owners offered to pay for. Our other guess still had to pay for their stay. On top of it all, the phone number was never answered. Just went to voice mail, and there was no room to leave a message. Very poorly run.
