I've ordered from here about 5 times now and it's consistently delicious! The broth is amazing and I love the variety of ingredients they have. You can completely customize your food, including levels of spiciness and numbness.

This place is the best for hot noodle bowls in london. Choose your own ingredients, broth and toppings. I would recommend getting one big loaded bowl to share (for two), and absolutely FILL IT with good stuff. If you think cilantro doesnt go, trust the system, it'll all be delicious. And if you think you're spicy-tough, choose a level below what you think you can handle; it's less fun when you can't taste what you're eating. The pork broth is so rich and perfect. Note: shrimp add-on will come with eyeballs on em. Very small interior, perfect for dates or takeout. Authentic and delicious Asian food!!!!

Extremely dirty place, the flooring is greasy and dark. Food handling system is seemingly old and fragile. The entire thing is even more expensive than outside food. But gladly, didn’t have food poisoning situation happening and the food seems safe. No dine in available in this premise.

I ordered twice from them. One is self pick-up and one is the delivery, I’d say both of the experiences are pretty good, the spicy level is perfect. The only advice is that if you are not dining in there, don’t order the instant noodles as it will get soft and fragile easily.But overall, the food, the service, fantastic!

Very authentic 麻辣烫 - great flavour, wide variety of ingredients, and many options for those who may not have a high level of spice tolerance.

Good food. But their soup options are all in Chinese. A few translated clothespins would be nice.

I love this place! I've been twice now and both times the service was really great and the food was also super good. The broth is the best part to me-- its super unique and spicy in all the right ways. The restaurant itself is pretty small so I would recommend either going alone, with one other person, or taking out. Overall, if you like spicy foods and hot pot, you will love this.

I went a few hours ago. Having been my first time there, I wasn't sure of what to expect- that being said, the restaurant was pleasant. Small in size, it was extremely cosy with myself being the only patron there for quite some time.You make your own serving, and it's a GIANT serving! Along with noodles, I loaded up my ramen with four lobster balls, four beef meatballs, four cuttlefish balls, a few chunks of imitation crab meat, three king-sized shrimp, and generous helpfuls of cabbage.Having seen how big the serving was, as well as the amount of meat I was using, I was prepared for the worst- however, the bill only came out to 33$, which included the two sodas I got!An amazing price, a huge serving size, and the spice was amazing. 5/5.

As of my edit, my favourite food place in London. The flavour is nice and the selection is very nice (they have quail eggs!!!). The store is quite organized, a guide for anyone curious about what this is, because it's a little different from other buffet style food places. A guide below for people who've never had this before:You first go in and select all the things you want in your hot pot and quantity you want it by yourself with some tongs. There should be a picture I added with the selection.Next you give it to the cashier, who will weigh it and ask you for 1) how spicy 2) how ma/numbing/麻 3) what toppings you want (sesame, green onions) and 4) do you want to add any extra meat. I think the spice and 麻 levels are fair, but do try it a level lower than usual just in case. I took a off some points here because the additional meat is $3 and its very little.Next, the cook puts it all in a pot for you, arranged very nicely, so you don't have to cook it yourself.EDIT: I've recently been back and it's gotten so much better, not that it was lacking before. There is lemon water self-serve or brought to your table, they have an appetizer in the form of Mala chicken and there's dessert MELONA bars!!! The broth seems to have changed since my last review and it's something I wish I could drink and did my best to drink while blowing the chili oil away. They now also have air conditioning!Definitely excited for London to have a Mala hotpot place, and will definitely come back. I recommend anyone to try it as nothing in London is like it. I can't keep this place alive with a students budget so please come try this awesome place if you want Chinese food that's more than Kung Pao chicken.

Malatang is pretty decent, somewhat expensive but the portion is good
