Sweet Caroline's Bakery

This was the 86th eatery and café I visited in Vernon. I have 54 left to go.Sweet Caroline's Bakery is Vernon's most famous bakery. It was my final bakery to visit.It has by far the biggest selection of any bakery in Vernon. I was truly impressed.The prices were much more reasonable than I expected.I bought a mocha cannoli, a Treasure Chest, and a Turtles brownie for $7.10. All three were absolutely delicious.One of the workers also was very friendly with a customer outside of Vernon who asked some bizarre questions. I learned the worker immigrated from England when she was five years old.There is a ledge with three chairs where people can eat their pastries and baked goods. I took full advantage of it.I was extremely impressed. As somebody who has been to 63 countries, this bakery reminded of my favourites in Europe. I stopped by the shop yesterday to pick up a treat for us, and the selection and ALL of the staff were amazing.As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a hello and smiles from the staff.I picked two cinnamon buns, which are incredible, and a small carrot cake for a special treat.The young lady serving me asked if I would like something written on the cake to make it more personalized.This is my favorite bakery, has been from our first visit over 10 years ago.The staff, selection, quality and price are the best in the valley.Thank you again for another wonderful experience in your amazing bakery.

Best bakery in Vernon in my opinion. Their prices are amazing for what you get, I just hope they don't start to charge what the other bakery's charge. They are honest and their goods are worth it.

Amazing assortment of goodies. The gluten free cupcakes were incredible, even by normal cupcake standards. Prices are low and makes this bakery an easy stop for lunch or a quick snack.

We love Sweet Caroline's, they have gluten friendly options (cross contamination is definitely a factor, so be aware). If you want gf come early or call and ask them to set something aside for you. You can also call and ask for a special order the day before. Lots of good gluteny options as well.

They have a nice large selection of treats. The Persian chews are my favourite!!I’d love to go here more often but they are one bakery in town that doesn’t have vegan options, including their breads :(If your gluten sensitive it appears they offer more options than other bakeries.Staff always seems pleasant and helpful.

Was frozen inside. I was told they were baked fresh daily.

Stopped in to get a birthday treat for a friend. The store had good parking and easy to get in and out of the strip mall. Just as I walked in the store I noticed they sold cinnamon buns by the dozen. Had a look at the cake section and picked out a couple of the turtle brownies. The cookies also looked delicious. You can also buy whole cakes for birthdays and other special events. The turtle brownie was as delicious as it looked and covered in chocolate keeping the cakey goodness moist. Prices were very reasonable. Staff was friendly and super excited as I was about the baked goods. I will definitely be going back for cinnamon buns!! Highly recommend if your driving through town and have a hankering for a a tim Hortons donut to stop here instead. You wont be disappointed.

Bought two wonderful desserts & hot cross buns . The Black Forest cake is some of the best I have had! It had more cherries in the cake than some places which I loved! The vanilla slice was also very good and not too sweet! The hot cross buns were good but I have had better. Staff was friendly and bakery was well stocked with so many good looking options!

Friendly staff and amazing baked goods, grabbed a box of assorted brownies for a party and we were all blown away!
