TransCare Community Support Services

My mother has been attending the day program at TransCare for several years now. We have had nothing but positive experiences there. Kiran has been great to deal with. Grateful for this wonderful program.

Some staff are rude to clients and their families - doesn't help that frontline workers are underpaidUnethical practicesCorrupt management that doesn't respond to staff needs

There is a special place in Hell for people (like Kavitha) that neglect the vulnerable, especially seniors AND the administration like Maria her supervisor and Germain Lee) who allow it to happen. Shame on you and remember Ladies. What goes around, comes around.

Absolutely rude and demeaning. Acts as if the seniors they are serving are beggars and these people are working for free. Literally said to me your grandfather is not the only one who's sick" when all I did was ask what time the PSW would come for him since it was getting late in the evening. Another time the coordinator said that my phone number one file "doesn't mean anything to her" when I was speaking about an incident with the PSW and my grandfather. PSWs are also available daily

Administration and managerial staff seem to have no empathy to the point where they belittle family members who have to care for their family members 24/7 endlessly. That's not how a service provider should act, especially with such a sensitive field such as PSW work.

Racist and rude coordinators. They don’t know how to speak to clients and are very disrespectful to the elderly.

The exemplary staff at 120 Townhaven and a few members at their head office were always there for us and especially for my Dad.Over the years, Dorothy and her team have always delivered above and beyond what we would normally expect, taking care of my Dad as if he was their own. And when COVID struck this year, they and Angela at the head office really stepped up. They arranged special care for my Dad while my brother and I couldn't visit, helping us through a really difficult time. My dad himself wasn't the easiest person to handle the past couple of years, but they still treated him with professionalism, loving care, and respect.And we received good service all around, and it's nice to know that you could trust the whole team, regardless of who it was. Transcare showed us empathy and practical solutions during our time of need.

Very unprofessional , the organization needs to provide its employees more trainings.

We have been clients of Transcare for over five years. We receive many hours of home care and have also accessed their day program and Meals on Wheels services. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this organization. They have come through so many times and there have been very few complications. We would not have been able to keep my mom at home without them.

Appalled at how they treat my family. Horrible management that belittles folks only trying to ensure their family is taken care of.
