Pennylane used to be a wonderful, honest, and professional business to go through for renting and managing properties. For the past few years I’ve encountered rudeness, dishonesty, and lack of communication on their end. It’s too bad considering I used to recommend them to people who were looking to rent, or were looking for a company to help manage their rental properties.

Took a week to tell me they couldn't rent me a unit. Seems standard for most of the property managers in the Comox Valley. Could careless about getting the rental but being informed in such a slow manner is such a rapid marketplace. Not a pleasant experience in the slightest.

Terrible rental company. DONT RENT FROM THEM. Super rude and belittling customer support even towards a long term tenate. Never helpful with building issues. Especially for parking. DONT RENT FROM PENNYLANE. Camping full-time would be Less of a headache. SHOUT OUT to the office staff for being the rudest ladies in the valley! CONGRATULATIONS PENNYLANE YOU'RE TERRIBLE!PS. As an A+ tenant penny lane took less than two hours to provide all that I needed to determine they’re a horrible landlord: poor communication skills, rigid unexplained processes, middlemen as barriers, failure to provide contact details, failure to answer any of my questions, and a nasty attitude.
