River view + plenty of free parking on a Sunday afternoon (but no shady parking spots) + a few shaded picnic benches + rocky beachNo dogs on this beach due to other wildlifeMost of the people passing on the parkway were on bicycles

Anytime I need a moment to look over the water, this is the place.Right on the Trans-Canada trail, this little gem spot is great to find some local wildlife, a quiet moment or even a friendly local walking their dog.There is always a great view of the sunset, overlooking the beautiful Ottawa River; a sight to be seen with the Gatineau hills just on the other side.There is a bench to sit on, but even if you don't want to get out of your car on a colder day, one can still enjoy the view; which is a bonus for those with mobility challenges.I'm never dissatisfied when I visit here.*If you like my reviews, please hit the like button.

Nice place to just stop by at 6 just to see the sunset. You can park facing the sun with a great view of the river.
