Parc Nautique de Cap-Rouge
A hidden gem amongst the rough.Beautiful area north side of the St. Lawrence River about 4km west of the Pierre Laporte bridge. Has a wonderful restaurant over looking the area. There is a small street that leads to an open park area than you can walk, jog or just enjoy picnicking or gazing at the views. At the other end there are Kayak and boat rentals. You can watch boats, ships and cargo carriers up and down the river. This is an immaculant area that has been kept a secret from the locals. This is a must if in Quebec City.

This is a beautiful park. It is a good place to come with your children and relax and play and have a picnic and just enjoy the day. The views are spectacular and the air is fresh.

This site is really nice! Lots of picnik tables, seats! Lots if shade spots and BEACHES! A nice trail follows the river! Enjoy!!

Parc Nautique de Cap-Rouge
This is a great place to go for either a canoe, kayak or pedalboat ride and more! The prices are very reasonable, especially for those who live in the area. Their price includes the rental of life jackets. The only downside is that they charge by the hour, so if you go too late and there is less than in hour left in the opening hours (which depend on the high tide, so they change day to day), then they won't let you go, even if you don't mind being charged for an hour and going for less long. Just a warning! But overall, this is a great place to do fun outdoor activities!

Parc Nautique de Cap-Rouge
Visited Cap-Rouge area in winter 2016 and enjoyed doing photography of old buildings, the railway bridge, and walking along the beautiful Saint Laurent when it was partially frozen and I could walk on it! Highly recommended for any visitor in Quebec City.

This place is amazing. Nice to stroll, walk your dog or whatever. Nice spot to see the sunset. Also a nice terrasse where you can drink and/or eat.

Great place for a walk! On low tide you can nearly walk to the middle of the river. Take care though, the tide returns quickly.
