Warhammer

Not gonna lie on this one, actually really loved the place. As a person new on Warhammer, was very helpful to get information on how to start out and how it all sort of works. Very kind and welcoming place, and I am glad I stumbled upon it. If you are interested in getting into Warhammer fantasy or 40k, this place would definitly be a good start. Still personally have to thank them being so seriously helpful and giving me recommendations on what to do and where to go in my long journey into this franchise.

Current experience is: Opens at 11 was there at noon but it wasn't open. I messaged the person who recommended the place, they told me the stores Facebook page noted they wouldn't be open until 12:30 today. It's worth mentioning their is no notice / message on the door that indicates to check their Facebook page for alternative hours, I just happen to know someone who knew that.I decided to wait. At 12:35 another customer who knew about the Facebook page rolls in and was confused why it's still not open. He called the person a few times as we waited until 1 but no answer and no updates on Facebook. He left and I pulled out to a nearby spot then parked very close to message my buddy about the situation... and of course I notice in my mirror the store guy opens the shutters... so I close up my car get out and start walking to the store to see the shutters are closed again :| ... I waited 5 more minutes outside and called the store, no answer...I felt so dumb waiting as long as I did, it made no sense to wait any longer. I've bumped this up from 1 to 2 because I was informed the person was stuck in traffic getting to the business and may update again later.

Amazing! Been going here for almost a year for all of my Warhammer needs, and Peter (the one employee??) is one of the coolest people I’ve met in my hobby journey. He’s polite, super helpful, always down to hang out and chat about anything, and never pressures me to buy anything. Honestly I’ve never felt so welcome at a hobby store. There are times I’ve gone in with questions and no intent to buy, but picked up something small like a can of paint or a book just because I wanna support this dude.Support local! Support Peter!

Great service, friendly atmosphere. A great place to spend an afternoon, either you're building models, painting, or just plain hanging out. They offer table space to anyone wanting a place to build or paint, and even a couple tables to wage epic battles with your friends (with friendly staff and patrons more than willing to teach). It's always a pleasure to come by and see what's new. I included a Space Marine I painted with a scheme suggestion and some instruction I got in store. Looks pretty nice for being the first of his Chapter to be done :3.

Hey, I don't usually make the journey out to Games Workshop Surrey just due to distance, but I've found myself needing products from GW from time to time that I always need in a bind. Not only are the staff here incredibly helpful, but they're extremely knowledgeable in their company's products. Excellent products and service overall.

I went in to this store to look for a Christmas gift for my husband. I literally know nothing about war hammer but Peter helped me out so much. His customer service was top notch and he made my shopping experience very enjoyable. Thank you:)

Came in a few days ago with a load of questions and a desire to try out a new hobby. Was greeted by a fellow named James. He sat me down showed me how to put together and glue a little space dude. HE spent 2 hours showing me technique and answering questions. I am floored at the level of customer service here. He answered all my questions intelligently and concisely. He didn't sit there trying to up-sell me on anything. He didn't pressure my into any decision or anything. As a result i walked out of there with a bag of miniatures to build and paint. James made the transition into this hobby warm and welcoming. Put my mind at ease at how daunting Warhammer can be to a newcomer. Thank you again, I will very much be back.

Burnaby is AWESOME. Great store hours and customer service. Was very dissatisfied Surrey’s location is not open on sundays or Mondays. Not a great schedule guys, you’re totally losing business.

Peter was awesome helpful got my tau starter pack and supplies going. Not cheap but I love it . Spent almost 2 hours with Peter

Great place. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I learned a lot about WH40k too!
