Ajax Crematorium & Visitation Centre

Attended a funeral and cremation here on Sunday June 5, 2022. The whole ceremony was handled with utmost compassion and professionalism. The facilities are very accommodating, very good seating, TVs for slide show are large and clear, sound system also very clear. The cremation was viewable on TV from every seat, so no need for crowding etc. I was so impressed by the experience here.By the way, we're from New York City and we have nothing to compare with this facility in Canada. What a shame!!

Thank you very much Manny and team for making the visitation and funeral service for my sister in law a truly remarkable experience. This was the first time we (my husband and myself) were tasked with arranging funeral services and without Manny's assistance we would be totally lost. Manny made sure every single detail was taken care of by making excellent suggestions. Everyone was very comfortable at both the visitation and funeral service. The guests were pleasantly surprised with how big and clean the refreshment lounge was. We were very happy to have the opportunity to come a little earlier and set up the refreshments. This allowed us to spend more time listening to the service. The coffee and tea were always replenished - guests were quite happy with this. Keep up the excellent work Manny and Team!

We chose Ajax Crematorium and Visitation Centre for our beloved Mother and grandmother and we couldn’t have made a better choice! Manny and his entire staff were kind, professional and understanding of our loss and our needs from the very beginning. They provided everything we asked for and the entire service was better than we could have ever hoped for. They greatly surpassed our expectations at our greatest time of need. We would highly recommend them.

We worked with Tharma and we were so happy with the service in general. He was compassionate and empathetic towards everyone. He was patient and willing to listen to all of our wishes and saw that each of them were fulfilled.I will definitely recommend Tharma to anyone who finds themselves in this unfortunate circumstance of saying their goodbyes to loved ones!

If I could give negative stars I would this place was absolutely disgusting. They found a way to make the worst day of my life even worse. They were rude and discourteus and absolutely horrible. Do not go here. There was a strange smell emanating from my mom not huge but enough to make it uncomfortable. Ive been to many many funerals as a minister and never encountered that before. They lost the flowers donated by the Temple, they messed up all of the video tributes by playing them out of time and not in thier entirely, my eulogy to my mother was ruined when they didnt play the final video. They were rude to my family, Manny was literally making signs at our Hindu Pundit motioning to him with a cutting motion to his neck to get him to end the service. When I had to push my moms coffin in to the machine I broke down and ran to the bathroom.. Manny was waiting for me to come out and didnt even give me a chance to go and get my purse, like he was almost physically pushing us out . There was a traffic event of the highway and the Pundit was a half hour late, apparently this was something Manny couldn't handle. It was absolutely disgusting. I would suggest you reconsider this venue seriously. If you want a disaster this is the place to chose.

My uncle's funeral was at Ajax Crematorium last month and I can't thank the staff enough. They were kind, patient, and so understanding. The space was organized and clean, including the bathrooms. The staff were always so attentive and when it came time for the cremation, I'm grateful that Puneet made it a point to include us in the process rather than have the notion of this is happening right now

The visitation and funeral service went well. The staff is very respectful and considerate, especially Manny who I arranged the services with.

Thank you to Ajax Crematorium Centre for their amazing and heart felt service. We were very impressed with the cremation service we had a few weeks ago and everything was dealt with in the best timely manner. The communication was superb through email. We will definitely come to them FIRST for their services again.

I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude to the management and staff of Ajax Crematorium and visitation Centre. In my hour of grief due to the sudden passing of my husband in May, the whole team, led by funeral director Manny, demonstrated kindness and compassion to our family, as well as by meeting the funeral needs of my husband at such short notice. They provided my late husband with respect starting from the transfer from the forensic lab, the visitation, funeral service, cremation, and even until our family picked the urn with the ashes. The place was super clean, spacious, including the washrooms and the refreshment room. There's enough parking spots which may be a problem with other funeral homes. No one wants to be in such a situation, of losing a loved one. It makes such a difference when the funeral home, management and staff are excellent at what they do. Million thanks, ACVC.
